BB5 was the last US Big Brother cast I actually enjoyed, since it was the last time it felt like there as a group of individuals in the house instead of just a group of sheep led by a dominant character who got 80% of the airtime (BB9 is the only one since that didn't feel like that, but it was a lot sleazier). Plus, it was the last season with the great 'PREVIOUSLY ON BIG BROTHER' music. I never got the double standard of it being okay for Nakomis to work in a alliance against Cowboy, but when Cowboy did it was so wrong :/

The Apprentice 3 is the third season of The Apprentice. It premiered January 20, 2005 on NBC. In this season, two groups of nine were divided into book smarts (who took the name Magna Corp) and street smarts (called Net Worth) referring to those with and without a college education. This replaced the Battle of the Sexes concept used on The Apprentice and The Apprentice 2.

This was also the last season to land in the Top 20 Nielson ratings, ranking at #15, with an average of 13.96 million viewers.

1. Brian. Yeah, he's a second boot and thus no one remembers him, but for the two or three episodes he was on, I enjoyed his fat ugly self. He was on the cleverly-named Networth (seriously, the team names sucked this season) with the other high-school-education people, and they won their first task, with a reward of dinner with Trump, where he asked Trump about helping someone and then immediately cursed about how amazing it is. Yeah, no better way to impress your future employer than constantly cursing in front of him. The next week, he was PM for a renovation task for a motel, and he was glorious. While the other team focused on renovating the actual rooms, Brian spent their budget replacing the fucking toilets. He sucked ass as a leader and then they went to the boardroom, and Brian actually told Trump to fire him. That's right, this dumbass actually told Trump to fire him. He tried to weasel his way out of saying it later, but by then it was too late, and he was fired. He came back for the final task, but he didn't really stand out there. Overall, probably my favorite second boot in Apprentice history, and the only one I really remember.
2. Verna. She started off alright, but then week 2 came and she couldn't handle it. She tried to quit, and ended up just wandering around the streets with her suitcase, which was a hilarious sight and led to one of The Apprentice forums' best Photoshop threads. Eventually Carolyn picked her up and talked her into staying, which she did. At least until the beginning of the next episode, where she quit for good. Still, we got a great thread out of it, so I guess it was worth it in the long run.
3. Danny. This guy was UNBELIEVABLE! At least, I think that was the word he kept shouting over and over to annoy everyone. This guy was a goofball with one of the craziest audition tapes ever. He wore weird-ass clothes and brought his guitar and everything. It really makes you wonder why the fuck this guy was on The Apprentice in the first place. Anyway, he started off kinda lame, coming up with some idiotic cheap-looking challenge to draw people to Burger King, and was brought to the final boardroom for it. In the second task Michael was PM and won, and thus got an exemption. Danny then PM'd the next task, and really sucked as a leader, though Michael slacked off too. So when they lost, Danny came up with a brilliant idea: take the guy with an exemption to the final boardroom! What an UNBELIEVABLE plan! So Danny the dumbass brings the exempt Michael with him to the final boardroom, and in an UNBELIEVABLE turn of events... nah, Trump just fires Danny for being a dumbass. Still amazing this guy lasted three weeks.
4. Cucumber Porn. Week 4 comes, and we get bathmat-wearing Erin and uber-bitch from Murder in Small Town X Kristen as PMs. Magna (really, not Summa?) had Erin and Bren conspire a very erotic commercial involving washing a cucumber with Dove soap, while Networth had the brilliant idea of having a runner run and then cover himself with it while running or some stupid shit like that. At any rate, both were horrible, and thus both teams lost. Erin managed to save Magna from Trump's wrath, but Kristen was not so lucky, and thus she was fired. It was the first time both teams lost, which is really a testament to how much this cast sucked. Oh yeah, and it seems Trump tried to out Chris this episode, which is another instance of Trump being classy.
   
5. Trump be rollin'. Thus comes Week 6. Both teams had to go to Harlem and make a graffiti ad for Gran Turismo 4. Alex, the yuppie white guy, was PM for Magna, and god damn if he wasn't hilarious in this task. At one point, he actually walks up to a couple of guys making a drug deal and asks them if they would mind helping him out with the task. The guy was just so god damn clueless that it was hilarious to watch him fuck up slang. Trump decided to check out both teams to see how they were doing, and while this happened, the editors actually played a rap based on Trump. That's right, Trump was riding his limo while a rap song about Trump rollin' around was playing. I know when I think of Trump, I think of rap. Anyway, the otherwise-sane Tara over on Networth was too focused on making the mural look artistic and classy and less on, say, advertising the game, so thus she ended up losing and getting it fired, which was the beginning of the end for Networth, as from this point on they never won again.
6. Audrey. For some reason, I keep forgetting she existed, even though she's the most beautiful person in the world. At least, that's what she makes it sound like when she cries about how she had to intentionally scar herself in school so that others wouldn't hate her for being so beautiful. I can't make this shit up. She tries her best to show she has a great work ethic despite her amazing beauty, which fails since her beauty is so radiant that it outperforms her other aspects and thus she looks incompetent. The other members of Networth were easily jealous of her ravishing good looks and tried to get her out, and when she was PM she brought Angie, her only ally (and probably the only comptent person on Networth only to get fired for bullshit reasons late in the season), to the boardroom, for no apparent reason since her beauty's so strong it dominates over her ability to think rationally, and she finally got fired. But hey, at least Trump called her beautiful.
7. Meatball Pizza. For once, something that had nothing to do with the candidates, but rather the hilarity of advertisers. You see, in Week 10, teams had to make their own custom pizzas for Domino's. Trump remarks how he likes meatballs, so both teams make meatball pizzas. The thing is, Domino's was hawking some stupid Cheeseburger pizza instead, but their rival Papa John's managed to sneak in an Apprentice-themed commercial to many local markets telling the competition, "They're fired!" and advertising their meatball pizza. So both Trump and the candidates are supporting meatball pizzas, Domino's, the company who was being sponsered that task, was selling a cheeseburger pizza instead, and Papa John's, a big rival of Domino's, was advertising their own meatball pizza. The editors actually had to splice in Trump clearly overdubbing about how Domino's marketing gurus realized that nobody wants meatball pizzas but rather shitty cheeseburger pizzas. Still didn't stop me from ordering Papa John's that night. I just loved that whole scenario.
   
8. Chris. This guy was amazing to watch. In the second episode, someone made a negative comment about Chris in the boardroom, and then Chris, who hadn't really stood out at this point, suddenly started screaming, getting red in the face and freaking out over whatever was said. This became a common theme during the show. He had other awesome moments, such as chewing tobacco while dressed like a clown, trying to send Stephanie back to Magna after Magna sent her to Networth during a team swap, having Trump accuse him of being homosexual, screaming at Alex during a task, leaving his team's credit card at Best Buy, and screwing up a presentation. It's amazing how this guy made the F6 despite being such a joke. He actually got better the further he got in and started not to yell, and even tried to help in the final task in an attempt to redeem himself. Of course, after the show he gets arrested for his temper, so I guess he wasn't successful in curbing his anger issues.
9. Tana. Originally starting on Networth before being switched to Magna with Craig, Tana actually started off pretty strong. She was competent and did a good job rallying her team. Around halfway through, Tana started becoming less competent and more insane. She was still better than most of the other people in that cast, but she soon went crazy. At first it was simple, funnt stuff, like saying "Uma Thurma" or sitting back eating a sandwich while Kendra and Craig argued. But soon it went crazy, and by the F4 she was searching through New York City for a Bedazzler for a fashion task. In the F2 task, she outright refused any help from her teammates, shitty as they were, and tried to do everything herself. She even tried to sneak off from her team so she could keep some candy. She ended up losing in a huge fashion, and she went on to do stuff like Reality Fear Factor with BFF Craig and also becoming an infomercial star, where she sold the Bedazzler while recounting her experiences searching New York City for a Bedazzler "on national TV." And despite all this, she was still the second-strongest candidate this season. Sad.
10. Kendra. Just because she won on a season full of idiots, it doesn't mean she lucked out. By all means, she was a very strong competitor, won 3 times as PM's, and was mostly responsible for Magna's winning streak later in the season. She didn't stand out until the circus task, where she advertised the hell out of her team's circus thingy at certain kid-oriented locations, netting them the win. In the F6, her feud with Craig comes at a head and Tana and Craig pretty much refuse to do anything, leaving Kendra the task of single-handedly designing a brochure for Pontiac, and she manages to create something so good that Pontiac actually decided to use it for their promotions. In the F2, while Tana shunned her inept team, Kendra embraced hers, putting faith in them despite them being inept, and it pretty much worked to her advantage. It was no contest, and Kendra easily won the season as the sole competent person that season. That said, I still think she would do very well in, say, season 1, as she was still a strong competitor and was a pretty savvy businesswoman. Overall, a very deserving winner.
