Simon was wrong. Kris made it his own version. I'm just not sure I liked his version. It made a strange twist to the meaning of it. For whatever lunatic
reasons he had, Simon Fuller at least gave both of them songs improbable for their 'type' to sing with the right feeling. I guess we now know Simon
Fuller is a perverse song selector. Both those choices had ambush written on them.
