Stephen fucked up at the F3 tribal. He should have said in front of the jury that if JT took Erinn to F2, she would have done what everybody thought was impossible - broken up the Jalapao alliance. First Taj, then Stephen. She would have scored huge points in the Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast columns by going from the bottom rung in two alliances to being F2.

Then in final tribal, Stephen could have said he outplayed JT by having him believe the weakest in the F3 was actually the strongest and getting him to dump her. He could have positioned himself as the proud mastermind behind all the boots. It would have allowed him to use some jujitsu, showing that JT was an unwilling participant in the Coach blindside, unable to commit to the work that had to be done to get to F2.

Stephen probably wouldn't have won the game, but he might have gotten a little more respect. Also, mentioning that taking JT to the F2 would have been tantamount to writing him the $1 million check would have been a much smarter response to Merhag's question.

Anyway, enough of the Monday morning quarterbacking. Season's over. Bring on the next lot of fools, sheep, and mactors.
