Fuck you Simon. What an overinflated sense of self worth. As I said earlier, I was an Adam fan, but Kris gradually won me over more. He could take a lesson
from hockey where after the game is over they have to shake hands.

Yes, Simom congratulated Taylor after it's all over and did stand up during the song. Simon stood up for Kris for a minute as well.

If you watch the Taylor clip he was standing in the beginning. He sat back down after they were dragging it out going back to his hometown.

I respect Simon's lack of bullshit. A standing ovation is supposed to be reserved for a performance that you loved or deeply respected. They aren't
supposed to be expected or obliged to give one. As long as Simon isn't being outright nasty, I don't think it's wrong to not act stoked about a
winner.

It's not about pretending to be happy it's about being respectful. Whoever wins the competition the judges should be respectful and applaud their
efforts, I don't give a shit how pissy they are or if it wasn't someone they pimped. They earned the win and deserve to be respected.
The judges/producers put them through to the voting rounds and allowed America to decide. If they didn't want Kris Allen to win they shouldn't have put him through to the semis. Also they shouldn't be so confident in their over pimping efforts, just because it's worked almost every other season doesn't mean they're fool proof. It's not about clapping or standing for his "No Boundaries" performance but give him the deserved respect for winning the competition. |

This just seems like much ado about nothing IMO. Seems the Kris fans feel that perhaps he didn't deserve to win and now they are looking for things to whine about so why not whine that Simon didn't do cartwheels across the stage and blowing Kris kisses in celebration of his win. Simon is rude and disrespectful throughout the season, why should the finale be different? He compared Kris to a lunch of ice and called him wet. He was very complimentary of both of the guys last night and the truth is Simon is rarely as demonstrative as the other judges. Let's just hope that he doesn't do to Kris what he did to Taylor, which is very publically say American got it wrong. |

That's the stupidest comment I've ever read. Everyone feels their favourite Idol deserves to win, despite what the media/non-fans of their favourite might say. Just because Adam fans or the media or whoever else says Kris shouldn't have beaten Lambert doesn't mean his fans actually feel he didn't deserve to win. I wasn't originally a Kris fan and I actually started his hate thread and Adam was in my top group of favourites but I definitely feel Kris deserved and earned his win. I just think the judges are all extremely arrogant, disrespectful, fucktards. All the time they disrespect the contestants by talking during their performances and fucking around with eachother and making stupid, unfair judgements because they have their own agenda. The very least they can do is respect the winner of the competition but what can I say, why expect them to start acting properly at the end of the season. |
