He then hugged and kissed Paula and sat down before Kris sang. The other judges sat down a few moments later. And Simon spoke to both Kris and Adam after the show, both alone and to their families. He put him down all year, and then when "his" pick lost, he sat down and refused to clap. Kris even said he felt disrespected by Simon on Extra last night. Adam was VERY gracious in defeat. Simon could have taken a lesson from him.

But that is Simon's personality. He would never stay standing through a song for any contestant, not even Susan Boyle. And Simon spent equal time afterwards, both during the press part, and at the private VIP party talking to and congratulating Kris and Adam, as well as time speaking to both of their families. He also spent some time with some of the other finalists, spoke to Allison's family and seemed quite gracious and supportive. It seems so odd that everyone is basing disrespect on a photo capturing just one moment when Simon clearly stood up, clapped, hugged and kissed Paula, like he was very happy, and then sat down, just a few moments earlier than the other 3. Must all 4 stay standing the exact length of time?

At that point, people should need less guidence in "who" to vote for. This has less to do with his "character" that he is supposed to play (the rude judge) and more about the person. I just see this as who Simon really is. His horse didn't win, so he RTC. How come I haven't seen a pic of him clapping for Kris, shaking his hand, or slapping him on the back? He's a stuck up fuck who didn't get what he wanted.
