I'll keep that in mind for the next update, although I will admit I don't know too many Asian Idols. Also it's probably for the reason that you mentioned that I wouldn't like many of them, I'm all about the singer/songwriter thing.

Cheezy Theo is lovely, he wasn't my #1 favourite that season but lovely nonetheless. I was harsh on all the contestants on CI6 though because my favo was super robbed.

Carly Rae Jepsen was my CI5 favourite, she was just all kinds of wonderful. "At Seventeen" was certainly her most moving, emotional performance of the season. She came 3rd place, she should have been in the finals but the CI voters are notorious sexist fangirls so girls get screwed in favour of fangirl favos a lot.

Ricki-Lee is a good singer. As as I admit my hate for her is mostly irrational. That said I hate her mostly for being an overrated bitch. LOL at her looking like bikini girl, fortunately for Ricki she has a more attractive face than Katrina.

I do the same thing with videos though, if I don't like the voice or the performance I turn it off when I'm turned off.

Shannon is wonderful and I really like his songs but to each his or her own. LOL @ you hating Natalie Bnafajfjksgjhsbghjsjk whatever. She's Australian and she's the singer from The Rouge Traders and the host of Australian SYTYCD and an actress. Her voice isn't for everyone and my dad thought the same thing when he listened to that duet. He thought Shannon did a great job but hated Natalie's voice.

Back to my love Carly Rae, she's actually doing quite well for herself. She's signed with an indie label in Canada Maple Music. Her singles have been doing well airplay wise which is impressive considering her season has been over for a few years and she didn't even win or get a major label deal. Her first single was a cover of John Denver's "Sunshine On My Shoulders" but her two original singles are "Tug of War" and "Bucket" and both are catchy and awesome imo. I love her CD.

Interesting. Those lyrics sound retarded but to me since it's all in Dutch is would hardly make a difference, lol. I just like the sound.

Coolest name ever? I think so. I don't even remember how I discovered Taufik but I just thought he was so cute and I liked his voice.

Fun fact about Singapore Idol, they had a Parent's Choice theme where their parents obviously picked their song choice. His mom choice "Everything I Do" for him.

Also read the Youtube comments for his videos and other Asian Idol videos on Youtube, the comments are almost always fights, it's lol. It just goes to show there are other Idol fans like us around the world who like to re-hash shit from years ago and bitch back and forth about it, lol.

One day Miki. We have all summer, lol. No Canadian Idol means bored SHC so there will be an international Idol of the day for every day of the summer.

I didn't realize so many otherwise countries have SYTYCD, DWTS, X Factor etc. If like all the European countries can have their own versions why can't we. This is total bullshit.

It's because we have a lack of stars and any of the legit, established stars we have would never go on shit like DWTS. LOL.

For real though we have 33 million fucking people, if the small Euro countries can sustain all these talent shows surely we can.
