He did deserve to win. His main problem was that he made to many deals, that he could not keep them all. He made a deal with Lex and Kathy to save Amber, but he also made promises to Rupert , Jenna, Tom & Alicia. He had to disappoint some of them. Everyone save for Kathy held Rob responsible for breaking his word to them & were bitter because he played them. Rob took all the risks, Amber did not and she was only viewed as the lesser of 2 evils. At least Kathy was able to look past all that and acknowledge that Rob was truly the better player.

Rob probably didn't care whether he won anyway as he and Amber were in a relationship so would still get to share in her money anyway if she were to win.



I don't think Kathy was voting for the better player. She was bitter with Amber more so and so she voted Rob...also she knew Rob better. I don't think at the time of her vote she cared who was the better player.
