This is about as esay as picking winning lottery numbers but I'm going to give it a try.

Predictions

13 - Matt - I think the first one to go will be Matt or Michael depending on their performances, but Michael has the country vote kind of to himself, while Matt's competing for the R&B vote with Anoop, who's more heavily pimped and will probably get much better judge's comments. However, if he does really good performances the first few weeks, he could make it a ways farther. Finish range - 13th to 7th

12 - Michael - He could make it farther if he picks good songs and gets the country base fired up, but as it is I see him going early. He'll probably be another early white guy casualty who the judges are too harsh to to help even out the genders. Finish range - 13th to 8th

11 - Jorge - He'll have a semi-large voting block with latinos, but I predict the judges will be merciless with their comments towards him to try to get him out before the Top 10 tour group (that is, if the tour group is only going to be 10 this year - I heard it may be all 13), and because of that his confidence will slip and his performances will get worse fast. If he really blows it out of the park the first couple of weeks, he could stick around a while longer though. Finish range - 12th to 7th

10 - Jasmine - I predict the judge's will give her just enough compliments to make it to the tour (if only 10 are going), then tear her apart until she's voted off because they don't want a repeat of, well, Jasmine. But if she builds up her fan base fast enough she could stick around a lot longer. And that's a real possibility since she could lock up the nice, pretty young girl vote and part of the black vote. Finish range - 12th to 5th

9 - Alexis - She'll last a little ways at least and will probably mostly always get middling comments fromt he judges, her demise eventually being her fan base who likes quirky rocker-ish girls being split with Allison. Finish range - 9th to 5th

8 - Anoop - He could go a ways farther if he picks up enough of the Yamin-fan-type voters. But he seems kind of dorky and not as good of a singer as Elliott, so I'm predicting an earlier demise, maybe the first semi-surprise boot. He'll be pimped til around the Top 10, then will probably start getting middling comments until he's voted off, unless he just starts giving show-stopping performances. Finish range - 10th to 5th

7 - Megan - Who knows with Megan. Despite sub-par performances, I predict she'll be heavily pimped at least the first 3 or 4 shows to ensure she get at least semi-far. Then they'll get slightly more critical, but I predict they'll always be too generous with their comments towards her til she's gone. If she's really bad, they may give up and let her be voted off earlier, but if she gets much better than she's been, she could go far too. Finish range - 12th to 4th

6 - Adam - I predict he will be a "surprise" boot at some point. I don't know if the judge's will keep loving him until he's gone or turn and start really tearing into him later on to make sure he doesn't get too far, but I do predict there won't be any in between - the judge's every week are either going to love or hate him. My guess is they'll eventually start calling him way too theatrical and poseur-ish and a tries-too-hard to get him out. But if things go his way, he could go very far. Finish range - 8th to 2nd

5 - Kris - I predict he'll go a lot farther than some may think because he's very good-looking and nice. He may be short, but tween girl voters don't care. The judges will probably always be middling with their comments towards him but he'll survive awhile because of his looks/personality. If he's really lucky and a bunch of people mess up midway through, he could Syesha/Jason all the way to the F3 or 4, but if he stinks it up the first few weeks he could also be gone very early. Finish range - 12th to 3rd

4 - Scott - While making this list, for a long time I had him at #8, and at one point at #3. He's one of the more unpredictable ones. He will be heavily pimped until at least halfway through the show, when the judge's might get a little more critical, though I predict they'll always be "nicely" critical to Scott. But even while still being heavily pimped, he could be a surprise boot (hence me having him up at 8 for awhile). Finish range - 8th to 3rd

3 - Danny - I predict he'll be a "surprise" boot near the end (even though I personally don't think he even deserves to get this far). He'll be extremely heavily pimped the entire season, but I think by the end the judge's will finally get more critical. Finish range - 6th to 2nd

2 - Allison - I predict she'll make it way farther than most people think now. If she really messes up at first multiple times, it could take her out early, but otherwise except her here for a long time. Once Alexis is gone, I predict she'll get a lot of her votes and that will take her very far. I think the judge's will always semi-pimp her (enough, but not too much like with some other finalists) a la Jordin Sparks. If Lil disappoints or gets a surprise boot, she's also the show's "in-case" winner. Finish range - 8th to 1st

1 - Lil - In my opinion, who the show (stealthily) wants to win. And I believe she will win, because a lot of voters will get behind her, especially ones determined to make sure Danny (or Scott, or Adam, or even Allison) doesn't win. So she'll have her own fans plus she'll be the catch-all for people trying to pick someone who can actually beat the other, more unliked by many, chosen ones. I predict the judges will pimp her all the way through, but not quite as much as other heavily pimped ones (Danny), a la Fantasia. If somehow she doesn't win, it'll be because of a surprise, and probably controversial, boot. Finish range - 6th to 1st
