Don't forget the original monkeyboy Elliott, Constantine, Ruben, Justin, Archie, Gokey, Matt, Chikezie, all of the gay J's, Taylor, Chris R, Anoop, Kris, Craterface, Savol, Savard, and everyone else except Anwar and Ace. I don't really understand your post. Are you trying to say that Chris R wasn't good looking? That is what I'm saying. He looked like a 40 year old baby.

In the eight seasons that this show has been on the air, America has chosen the following eight:
So, for the past four seasons, they've pretty much covered the bulk of the board. Perhaps in 2010, they'll be eyeing a female rock singer, an attractive male R&B singer (they haven't really HAD one even in this, the age of Ne-Yo), or a female Kris Allen. Or perhaps they will decide NOT to focus on a single type of performer, and we could end up with a competition similar to the first two seasons, where there was no preconceived notion of what an Idol was. I hope that the 2010 season will be more inclusive of all types of performers, and not geared toward a certain type of person; that people won't be held back or advanced solely because of their style of music. But, this is American Idol, so I won't be surprised if they steer the show towards another type of performer. |

Kelly Clarkson was never a "pop rock" singer on S1, m'dear. She was either the whitebread version of a Black diva, screaming R-E-S-P-E-C-T and
she is a natural woman, or she is warbling glory note anthems of Celine Dion and Air Supply.
The first three seasons were very heavily slanted toward R&B, and it was only in S4 that the show seemed to acknowledge that other genres of music existed. With the increasing number of church-going, gun-owning White people tuning in to watch, I suspect that we will never be able to go back to the R&B-dominated vibe of the first three season. Having said that, I'd love to see a hot Ne-Yo type on this show. That or a hot rapper, because rap is one of the few marketable genres of music considered non-existent on this show. |

It's safe to say that next season there will not be over 10,000 power texting votes per person or software allowed. There will be a fixed number of votes
coming from each phone line. The travesty of voting that happened in season 8 will not be allowed to happen again. A T & T will not be a sponsor. The
judges won't pimp people that are not worthy as in Karaoke Gokey. There will not be another top 12 contestant that will pimp his dead wife for sympathy
& votes. Kara will find some new lines to open her critiques with. Kara will know what early Aerosmith means. Simon & Paula will have sex so they
can stop with the grade school flirtation. When the judges harp on the new season having the best talent, it will be true this time. Ryan will wear lifts in
his shoes. Adam is selling out concert halls, is officially a rock god and superstar & has sold more records than any AI contestant.
