I saw enough of it to form a somewhat valid opinion, but I do plan to see it in full soon.

This was HORRIBLE, even by Final Destination standards. The deaths weren't creative or interesting like in the first three movies.

My favo part is they took the shock factor out of the black guy's death by showing it in EVERY.SINGLE.TRAILER.
Terry's death worked because no one knew it was coming. |

I just watched Final Destination over again. That movie puts FD4 to shame...SO good. Filmmakers need to understand that we don't need a high body count; we
like suspense and story.
Billy was really the last death in that movie (car shard through the head) and the rest was all suspense. That's what made it work! But Tod's/Terri's/Ms. Lewman/Billy's deaths were all creative and neat and suspenseful. Now I am gonna rewatch FD2 and 3 since I have nothing better to do. |

Why didn't the teenagers simply move to a rural location and live off the land? By staying in an urban environment, they were behaving in a foolhardy
fashion.

Much like the Saw series, first it was an innovative concept, but after that, it just becomes the make up and effects peoples opportunity to showcase new ways to kill people and use fake blood and organs. Just like every other horror franchise, theres just so many places they can go before it becomes the same old thing over and over. |

FD only had a death toll of 5, after the airplance scene. That is what we are talking about, dumb goon.
A movie with a death toll of 22, isn't all that exciting. |

After that, they just decied to see how many different ways they could kill people and as many as possible in ridiculous ways. they may as well be Mortal Kombat 3 fatalities, when they started getting ridiculous. AKA Liu Kang dropping an arcade machine on his oponents head, Jax turning into a giant and stepping on his opponent or Kano ripping his opponents whole skeleton out through their mouth. |

Just saw this tonight. Wow was I ever disappointed. This was the worst movie of the franchise, by far. The deaths were boring and uncreative, and almost every
death was in the trailer. The only good parts were the opening credits with all the old deaths, and the opening premonition did make very good use of the 3D
feature. But other than that... total shitfest.

FD3 was when the series started to get a little stale (though it's my favorite one, because of Alexz), but TFD was a complete rehash of every film that's come before it, and not even in a "paying homage" kind of way, but simply repeating it. |

And may I also add that the deaths here aren't simple not relatable (save for the lawn mower death), unlike the other Final Destination movies.

HUGE fucking disappointment. I have to agree with everyone here.
1. Horrible cast. What did they do? Go down to the local mall to get some young people to act in this? WTF? This is Z-movie bad acting. I have never seen people in a horror movie being terrorized with such calm and equinimity. Nothing phases them from reciting their lines with zero belief or conviction. FD 1 to 3 all had decent actors who were convincing in what they were doing and the ridiculous situation they were in. 2. No suspense or mystery. Whoever wrote this script just strung a bunch of scenes together to connect the death scenes. FD 1 and 2 at least had the protagonists trying to figure out what death's plan was. In this one, they did an internet search and they immeditely came to the conclusion death was going after them. It was really nice of death to also give directions to the main guy as to exactly how each person dies. The fact they keep dying shows how inept he is when his visions are the most clear of the entire series. 3. Bad deaths. Just deaths you can see a mile away. And they really didn't need to show almost every fucking death in the trailers. All the fakeouts before the actual deaths were useless because the audience was already spoiled. And they all happen to people that aren't even given the bare minimum of what a character would usually get to at least show they were human beings. The only person who got any meat in terms of character was Mykelti Williamson's George. And we all know how unsatisfying his death was. It was in the fucking trailer! 4. And what the fuck was up with the second "big" vision? What was the point? The only good thing about this was the opening credits. It was just a reminder of the less sucky films in this series. |

People are dissapointed by a FD movie? Really??
Are you guys also expecting the next Jonas Brothers album to be more death metal oriented too? |

Part 3 was campy. This one was just pure shit. |
