Season Finale - April 29 epi Description

The third season ends with Lockhart Gardner facing bankruptcy as Louis Canning and Patti Nyholm join forces to sink the firm. Meanwhile, Alicia faces her conflicted feelings about Peter, and Kalinda’s past catches up with her.

i think it will be that people will finally start using the word YES, instead of always saying, i can, i do, or i have, in reply to questions

the "I can" or whatevs didnt' bug me, especially when I noticed I do it quite frequently.

i remember the whole phone thing - especially after kalinda beat the crap out of Blake and he said "I phoned you husband" - the whole thing was a 'did he say "i found your husband" or "I phoned your husband"

ok but did you notice when Alicia went to confront her mother in law 2 episodes ago, jackie was getting her hair washed at the beauty salon, actually lying back with her head in the sink. Alicia asked her if she had a moment and instead of saying, do you see i have my head in the frikkin sink? or even um, ok i guess, jackie said "I do"
i just thought that was possibly the most unrealistic thing i hve ever heard since the beginning of TIME!!!

At first I thought it was strange, but then I had to imagine that Jackie had been waiting for that moment to have that conversation with Alicia and didn't want to let the moment pass any longer. It worked for me.

Wow.. That was just.. ZZZZZ...

I should just be a writer on this show.. that was just a letdown..

I think they should have had Alicia's car blow up ala Kalinda's Husband - she survives as a Burn Victim.

Still holds her own next season, horribly disfigured - and see the Emmy's rake in.

Seriously - That would have been better than just a knock on the door.

I was actually expecting Alicia's car to explode when she looked at it and have the season end with her being comforted by Peter/kids as she sees how she could have been killed.

I totally agree. This was so underwhelming especially for a season finale. Thank goodness Alicia didn't go back in the house. That would have been a flushable moment for sure.
The only thing entertaining about MJF's character tonight was how he kept trying to get chummy with the new judge and the judge cut right thru the BS.
I know lots of people on here love Martha Plimpton but I'm so done with her character. If my lawyer let her kids run around the office and she cut into my time to change a diaper, I would find another lawyer. I don't see how L/G could lose such a big client to such a loose cannon. The client thought L/G were so preoccupied with Will's ban on practising law and (I forget the other reason) that they would go with someone who stops to change diapers and plays games through the window while her kid rides a walker around the office (and in a previous episode breast fed her baby) - I don't know. I think that's just really far fetched. And unprofessional.
I'm also really tired of L/G always being one step from bankruptcy. Who does the books for them? They need to find a better accountant and in particular, someone to collect on money owed to them.
I don't know what to think of Kalinda. She needed to put gloves on before she put the bullets in the gun. Kind of unusual to see her afraid of someone.....

I didn't get the vibe that Kalinda was really "afraid", but just decided to quit running from her ex. I think she might be setting up an intruder shooting. What are the rules in Chicago? Can you shoot someone who "breaks into" your home? Or have they forgotten there is a 2nd amendment to the constitution in that city?
