The two Emmy submitted episodes from TAR13 & TAR14 are: TAR14: Switzerland TAR14: Thailand #2 Why the hell did they pick that? It had one of the easiest Roadblocks and stupidest Detours of any season. Moscow #2 owns it in every single aspect. I guess they just wanted two episodes with Margie/Luke in first for INSPIRATIONAL value

If they wanted a piss-easy Roadblock, submit TAR 13: India 2. (That was relatively easy.) If they wanted stupid Detours, submit TAR 13: Kazakhstan. ((music Detour looked fun & interesting, but the cow Detour was all around ) If they wanted a Thailand episode, submit TAR 14: Thailand 1. If they wanted penalties galore, submit TAR 13: Moscow 2, TAR 14: Thailand 1 or TAR 13: Bolivia. If they wanted stupidity galore, submit TAR 13: Brazil 2. (Kelly/Christy's idiocy in this leg was enough to share for everyone.) The first one was fine. The second one = WORST.CHOICE.EVAH. Even the Office Chair, TAR 11 Hongkong, badly-edited TAR 1 Episode 1 (it was an okay episode, but the editing sucked), running around the Fountain of Wealth & the Mauritius-Madagascar-Finalnd-Ukraine episode stretch would've made better options than "OMG propellers1!!!1!! karaoke!!!!!!11! teeth!11111!!!!!" Thailand was bad, but so was Phuket: - Lame task that probably was the roadblock initially (zoo foolery) - Random luck task that greatly contributed to the finishing order (herb shop) - Ridiculous FF (per Mike/Luke, it was spending all of your money for orphans; if you had any left, you would've been penalized ) - Unbalanced Detours (Two Miles, if I recall correctly, was closer to the herb shop and closer to the pit stop. 100 Barrels wasn't nearly easy enough to counter those)

Thailand #1 had sympathetic Mel/Mike, nicer scenery and a challenging (compared to most of the season) Detour that led to the "heartbreaking" () collapse. Thailand 2 wasn't even an elimination - have they ever seen submitted an NEL before? TAR needs to lose the Emmy so maybe Phil will stop worshipping this shit-heap of a season.

And while I agree to all of that, I think the Emmy's are a major reason why the show's still around.

Am I suddenly living in an alternate universe where TAR2 leg 8 and TAR3 leg 8 never happened? I meant proportionately, in that the TAR9 NELs > TAR9 ELs. Though apart from the Australia NEL, the TAR2 NELs are the weakest part of the season

But you should probably give BOTSexes another chance; the good stuff happens near the end (by which I mean: Emily becomes my second favorite challenge person ever).

I forgot Miz = Mike, since I already knew him from Battle of the Network Reality Stars (which began my extreme Theo-hate after he was a ridiculous douche to Chip/Kim).

Also crazy: not choosing one of the decent legs of TAR13 for the Emmy's. Sure, the season was boring but some of the episodes were fairly good.
