As if that would happen - Gwen measures (and makes) the armour as well as the knight's clothing? I thought she was Morgana's maid? Why is she working in the armory? Oh wait - her dad is a blacksmith, right? Okay, so maybe there is some connection there. Slim and unlikely but nevertheless, still there. The special effects were certainly special tonight, SI. Although the magically charged spear was kind of cool. But the rest? Not so much.

If you don't have to pick apart the historical inaccuracies it was quite watchable. The characters developed. This is all being said after hating the pilot. I can't find a thing to verify if BBC made a second season.

These is this great new thing called The Internet where you can look stuff up!!! Try it sometime! Usually, Mordred is the offspring of Arthur and Morgan le Fey (Morgana in this version) who is usually portrayed as his evil half-sister. She raises Mordred to destroy Arthur.

So basically, Arthur saved the life of his eventual murderer.
