My non-existant heart actually made an appearance and showed that it is capable of emotion. Catelynn and Tyler were two of the most mature 16 year olds I have ever seen. They both have good heads on their shoulders and knew what was best for their little girl. NOW THE REUNION......I am sooooo there. I have to see the update on that little bitch. Farrah.

As if a teenager raising a baby is a great and wonderful thing. When my younger sister was 14 a girl in her class got pregnant and wanted to put the baby up for adoption, but her alcoholic white trash mother mother wouldn't let her, and she just had no support system to help her try to do what she felt was best for the baby. I feel sorry for that poor kid.

It was a HELLUVA lot more moving than some of the previous episodes. Now that the reunion is coming up, can we please stop airing this show 24/7? I thought the hospital had shitty policies for adoptive parents, they should have taken that baby right to the adoptive parents if that's what she wanted, then when they had to walk the baby off property, that was heartbreaking. It could have been because she was a minor and her mother refused to sign off on the adoption. I just hated that those two seemed to have no one except for the agency woman (who rightly stayed fairly neutral) to support their decision.

That woman will hopefully find a nice place in hell to rot.

I feel sorry for that poor kid. I don't have the same experience obviously, but I've had similar discussions with my mom about adoption. She's irrationally against the idea of a person doing that in toto. Will this be a continuing series(Not that I will watch)?

Tyler screaming at his ~~dad~~ sperm donor that love is NOT enough, that he wants MORE for his kid was awesome. If more kids thought like this, we wouldn't have all these kids raising kids who have more kids and the white trash nation might grow smaller. All of the other shows still focused on the "Me me me" and "my parents don't help me enough" crap. This eppy actually showed the kids to be smarter than the adults. Hooray for evolution.

I feel sorry for that poor kid. I had a college roommate that gave her baby up for adoption in high school. Months later she had to go to court to keep it that way because the babies father (who had no interest in the pregnancy) suddenly decided that he wanted the baby because his mother didn't want her grandbaby living with strangers. The baby luckily was able to stay with the adoptive parents. That's why I hate the adoption argument. Yes it's the best decision, but not everyone is supportive of it. There are many portions of society in which adoption is seen as horrible and grandparents (frequently the paternal ones whose sons lives won't change as much with a new baby) are often against it because they don't want their grandbaby being raised by strangers.

I had a friend in college who got knocked up, and decided to put the baby up for adoption because the father was pretty much just a guy she partied with and then couldn't even get a hold of to let him know she was pregnant. She ended up going through a lot of bullshit because of his family. She regretted ever admitting who the father was.

The couple that lived with the mother who was also pregnant and grandmother in a two bedroom house and the girl dropped out of school because she was afraid people would talk about her and did nothing but sit on her ass all day and eat, and they complained about her boyfriend not being able to make enough money to get an apartment because he couldn't get enough shifts (the kid was working three days a week) at his job. Then the father did most of the work with the baby while she lied around because she was soo tired.

I never used blankets or bumper pads in the crib because of SIDS. The car battle was an easy battle for mom. Go with her, let her try to get financing ON HER OWN to get the car she wants (and absolutely forbid grandparents to get any car), and when she fails to get financing, talk with her about buying somebody's $1000 beater like most teenagers do.
