Most servers want you to be happy so that you tip better and everybody leaves in a good mood. So, as long as you're not a dick about it and if you
legitimately were given not what you asked for, then complaining is ok. I'm also not sure that spitting in food is a thing that happens but I guess you
generally couldn't tell.

Yes, but there is a difference between complaining and politely asking for whatever you ordered.

Oh, I forgot. The restaurant was super short staffed and the waiter wasn't really a waiter after all but I still think they should have the proper
training.
Help me write a letter. I want free shit. |

True, true. You mean complaining like to a manager type thing? I'd ask the waiter to fix whatever he can and then go from there. The worst is when people
eat their whole fucking meal THEN complain. That's dick-like.
NOIS, just go to their website and find an email. They'll usually send you a coupon or something. |

The problem is no matter how nice you are to the waiter the food then goes back to the cook and god only knows what the waiter says to them or what kind of
mood the fucker is in.

Dat's right. You never know if you're going to have a Naomi, or a Calvin.

The places I worked, it would've been nearly impossible for the cooks to sabotage food with the ever-present head chefs. Servers actually have a better
opportunity to mess with food because there are nooks and serving stations where they have a few seconds of privacy. The cooks in the line have no privacy
unless they make up an excuse to take that plate into the freezer or something.
But yeah, as long as you're polite and if the server fucked up, no one's going to bother you. Waiters are too busy usually to care about revenge. Their attitude is, "Give me your money and get the fuck out." |
