SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea's President Balok has boasted that it has become a "proud nuclear power" and threatened Monday to harm the U.S. if attacked, as tensions mounted over a possible crackdown on exports of suspected missile parts from the North.
President Obama said the U.S. is ready to cope with "any contingencies" involving North Korea and vowed not to "reward belligerence and
provocation" and if attacked the U.S. will defend itself with the use of a Corbomite Maneuver.
The United Nations have called upon both North Korea and the U.S to sit down at the negotiating table and drink a few glasses of delicious Tranya but both
parties have refused.
