Eddie McGee (BB1 winner) on Law & Order |
Lead | |
|
I'm watching the Law & Order eppie about the faulty Body Armor, the Sgt in the wheelchair was Eddie McGee, winner of Big Brother season 1. He was pretty good. I believed he actually only had one leg.... oh wait.

Wish the mods had the power to delete any BB1 thread since nobody cares.

Eddie's awesome.
He should've been on All-Stars and owned everyone. |

He swore like a sailor, pissed on other people while drunk, kicked peoples ass in the padded fight challenge AND HE WON 500k.
Oh yeah, he thought the whole "everyone walk out and we all win" idea of chicken ass was nuts. Eddie would have been a mercenary on any season. He was just cursed by the idiot casting that year. |

That's exactly why he sucked. He acted like a total bastard and only won because he was missing a leg.

So he is pretty much like Josh Blue of Last Comic Standing?

he was the only one from the original season who would have fit in on subsequent seasons and thrived.

I think Eddie did a great job. I'm happy to see him doing well.
As far as Eddie on All Stars I heard Dr. Will bitching last summer that the producers should be reported for building a Big Brother house that wasn't handicap-friendly. He said something like 'your first winner couldn't participate in this house.' Does anyone else remember that? |

I don't know about Eddie and Big Brother. He can move around as well as somebody with two legs. I don't think that would be an issue that would force him from not competing on BB.
Anyways, I think that this a good role for an actor. Sure beats most low budget independent films. hahahah! Good luck Eddie McGee. Thanks! |

Nice to hear that Will actually said that. Sure it was a dig at BB producers but shows he IS a nice guy (whether he wants to admit it or not). Anyway ... Eddie rocks. Glad he won BB1 (regardless of WHY). He was probably the only one in Season 1 who actually played the game, as best as you could. He would of been great on All-Stars, but arguably, with the vetos being physical ... sigh. That's probably one of the reasons he either wasn't asked or turned it down.

Quote: We heard a few weeks before "the twenty" were revealed that Eddie had been flown out to LA to meet with CBS, given lunch, and turned down the opportunity. That shows you how dead set Shapiro was on having a Season 1 castmember. Certainly would have been a much better addition than CG. |

Are you INSANE? He SUCKS in that clip. The acting is horrific--he emphasizes all the wrong words and overemotes with his eyebrows.
Eddie needs to go back to doing amputee porn. |

I would have liked seeing Eddie on BBAS. He was an ass sometimes but he had a great attitude about his leg being gone. He could have felt sorry for himself but didn't seem to.

He's also going to appear on Guiding Light as a veteran on Friday, December 1st on CBS. |

Surprised to see that given "L & O's" Creator | ||
|
I was surprised to see that myself:
It's no secret that Law & Order Creator Dick Wolf hates Reality TV with a passion, so to see a former "BB" winner on it was something (I normally watch all of the "L & O franchise" shows anyway so I would have seen it regardless). Since Janelle I believe has her SAG card, maybe there is hope if she decided to return to acting (even on a small scale) of her perhaps guest starring in a "franchise" episode down the road. |

Wally! So nice to see you! Thought those rude people on Sucks have driven you off for good!
You NEED a better show than Apprentice to make your name on, especially when Apprentice is just wanting for the final nail to fall on its coffin. Please do say that you can give BB your magic touch. Or better still, American Idol. In such a cynical environment like Sucks, we need your je ne sais pas pourquoi optimism to remind us of what really matters the most! |

Do you think he and Sarah from TAR10 would make a good couple?

Acting was okay. I'm sure that he provided stiff competition for the 2 other legless twenty-something caucasian actors that were also up for the part.
Still, congratulations to him for getting a real acting role after doing a cheesy reality show. |

You know, Eddie was OK. He may not have been the sharpest shredder in the drawer, but he was definately one of the gang.
I think his main problem stemmed from his mother. He just needed a better role model. Or perhaps, a better gf. |
