I've always wanted to do something with film and movies like be a writer, work as a casting director, or continuity department. I just figured why focus on
the stuff I'm not going to need? I can add, subtract, multiple, and divide. If the numbers get too big I have a calculator what else in math do I need?
Science. . . .I have yet to use science. I don't care how something works, I don't care about the elements behind it. If it does what I want than
I'm good to go. I did enjoy History though.

Things like that stay with me especially when I think WTF this dude's an idiot. . . I seriously thought you were talking about your children though b/c nobody says "my girls" unless they're like 50 with a beer balancing on their gut. |

...Um, I was being sarcastic. The girl was wearing a skort and the aim of the challenge was like, being a whore at the club and transforming the outfit into a
work outfit.

and the american's dislike of math and science means that the coming domination of the world by the japanese, chinese, etc. comes ever closer.
you do know that developing more and more impressive computers/machines requires someone with an advanced knowledge of science and/or math to do all the research/experimentation/etc? the same goes for every aspect of technology and finance (someone has to write the programs you use) |

The horrible point AAA was making was that he personally doesn't need math or science. He doesn't care if people make good money with advanced
knowledge of math and science, as long as his touchscreen register works at McDonalds.

yeah, kill all the scientists, mathematicians, and technician types and he'll be crying big time when he actually has to do real math when the touchscreen
breaks down and there's no one to call to fix it

BBSpencer wrote:Not shocking you'd know what the registers at McD's look like you've probably been there enough but to pretty much use the same applied insult as MM defo shows you can't think of a comeback on your own. Some of you people act like I banished pocket protectors or something. Unless you pick a career path where Math and Science is needed they are pretty much useless especially Science. Math you will own apply the basics. Not a single one of you has yet to disprove my point. When am I ever going to need to apply science to everyday life? |
