I have finally met a cookie I could not eat. It was "chocolate chip" and "home made", but tasted gummy and was not sweet at all. I'm
embarrassed for the coworker who made them (not Troll).

Did some hippy make them with carob chips instead of real chocolate?

There was nothing special about the ingredients. She also made brownies and they were fine. I only ate about 10 of those.

Some dude took the last TWO pieces of birthday cake yesterday. And they were big-ass pieces that could have been subdivided.
Pissed me off. |

I do not ever eat food someone else made in their kitchen and brought to work unless I have been in their kitchen.

Somebody brought in the best carrot cake I have EVER eaten in my life today. The frosting is not too sweet, just perfect, and there are walnuts where there would normally be raisins for some reason.
Its moister than I'm not going to finish that analogy. but YUM. |

I am not even kidding, I ate the exact same thing at work today. Birthday cake my boss made for a coworker. They saved me a piece. TRUE STORY!

I had some carrot cake from Whole Foods last night, as well as some of their pot stickers.

zippityboomboom wrote: Yes. and I'm going to marry one. There really is nothing better than a good carrot cake. Except for alcohol. That is definitely better. but OMG speaking of breakroom food, a woman here is a Philipeepsie(sp) and she just got back from a visit to the homerand a couple weeks ago and brought back these wrapped candies that looked like macaroons. So of course, I tried one (duh). OMG how gross. It was like 10 year old ingredients were made into a lump of food and sat on a shelf for a year before being wrapped up. I guess my point is, why would you proudly take something like that in to share? |

I can't eat homemade foods unless I've seen the home/kitchen in question.
