JFK, November 1963, coming back from gym class with my 3rd grade. The janitor told our teacher. At 8 years old, I didn't understand what it all meant, it just scared me that everyone was upset.

Elvis, just remember the weekend they played his music non stop on all the stations. I was at a Lake Michigan beach house that weekend. I introduced my pre-school friend to her future husband. They are still happily married today.

Challenger, at a mandatory business ethics class at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach (work). Everyone in that corporation had to sit through a bunch of bullshit videos in a conference room for a day and inbetween tapes, we caught the news and got to miss the rest of the bullshit tapes for the days.

Other Shuttle that exploded, was in Austin in bed that morning watching on live local tv and they realized it had broken up over the DFW area, and found pieces by the LA/TX border

9/11, asleep in Los Angeles, Big Brother season. I woke up at noon pacific time. All hell had already broken loose. It was kind of weird to come in that far behind the event and try to figure out what was going on.

MJ, working, news channel on in the background, came over to OT to see what you guys would be saying.

The most memorable time, other than 9/11? the JFK moment.
