The world's largest food festival, the 29th annual Taste Of Chicago, gets underway today at Grant Park in Chicago. Featuring a diverse selection of
cuisine from many of Chicago's top restaurants, the Taste regularly attracts between 3-4 million visitors during its 10-day run.
I'm going down there today and I'll have some pics later tonight when I get back.

Why not just go to the local Giordano's? That's the only Chicago food worth eating anyway.

Its usually always a good time...Grant Park is so huge and unless you put yourself in a spot that's really crowded you'll have plenty of room to roam
around. However, on the 3rd a LOT of people get there in the morning and camp out all day just for the fireworks.

I haven't been to the Taste for about five years. I'm going to the Downers Grove Heritage Fest tomorrow! The Cryan' Shames are playing at 9pm! Then
next week I might go to Naperville's Ribfest and, of course, the mandatory Eyes to the Skies Festival in our suburb on the 4th! Summer is finally here!

Yeah it was all good Dmb...and I didn't even make it to half the booths! Tomorrow I definitely want a turkey drumstick and some corn on the cob. I'm
fasting for the rest of the day and tomorrow until we get down there.
Those pics were taken on my new cell phone camera. Not bad quality if I may say. |
