Michael Jackson, of course, dominated the world of music sales last week. Jackson's sold more than 400,000 albums last week (a 4,000% increase over the previous week's 10,000), according to Nielsen Soundscan. And his fans downloaded 2.3 million of his songs, with another 300,000 downloads coming from the Jackson 5 catalog.

On the Idol front, Jordin Sparks had the top download with Battlefield, and Kelly Clarkson narrowly edged out Carrie Underwood for the week's best-selling Idol album. Michael Johns' Hold Back My Heart debuted with nearly 5,000 album sales, while Brooke White's Radio Radio and Adam Lambert's Want made their first appearances on Nielsen SoundScan's list of the week's most-downloaded digital tracks.
