So in other words, you only had to know about 30% of the material needed to be a RN in order to pass.

The NCLEX-RN is a CAT like the GRE, so it means she was DAMN good to get only 75 questions, which is the minimum.

Congrats Holly! But I thought there was a 48 hour waiting period for results...all my friends have had to wait 2 business days.

I take mine in September. I'm semi-nervous.

You usually do have to wait 48 hours for your "quick results" (although mine was posted on the web sooner). But they make you pay for that and even though it's only like 8 dollars it's not worth it because you can find out right away if you passed or not by using the "secret way." All you have to do is try to register for the test again, and if you get a pop up that blocks you it means you passed! If you get through to the credit card page again it means you failed. It's a sure fire way of finding out if you passed or not. I'm sure you'll do fine. Just remember, EVERYONE (well pretty much everone) leaves that test thinking they failed. That test is just one big mind fuck. You just gotta always keep in mind safety safety and your ABCs and Maslows heirchy of needs and you'll be fine. Oh, and study infection control because that was a big component of my exam as well as countless others that have taken it lately. And also just remember that everyone has about an 88% shot of passing on the first try so the odds are in your favor! good luck to you in september:)
