The Twilight Zone marathon is coming! |

Is anyone else excited about this like I am? I always look forward to this every 4th of July more than the cookouts and fireworks. No holiday would be complete
without Rod Serling smoking a cigarette on my TV.

I've seen all of them except the one I read about that they never air on TV. It's about a guy who's about to be executed but he escapes and makes
it all the way home to his wife but just before he meets her he gets hung by the neck. It was all a dream.
The worst episode I ever saw was the one with the neglected kids who jump into a pool and go to some other place where aunt T makes cookies. Their voices sound dubbed with cheesy southern accents and the aunt looks like a crazy witch. |

I saw that one. They had mean parents or something. I kind of wish they would include the 80's version in these marathons. I always end up seeing the same
ones each year.

Yep, that's the one. It's listed in The Twilight Zone episode guide as the very last eposide ever made but they never aired it.

LB, if you've never read the story, it's on the Project Gutenberg website. It's fairly short, only about six or seven pages.

I have so many favorites: the classic w/ the woman getting surgery to look more "normal," the almost silent one w/ Charles Bronson and Elizabeth
Montgomery as the last two people on earth, the one w/ the sun nearly baking everyone, Agnes Moorehead fighting off aliens, etc.

Little Boy wrote: No the one that you most likely never saw, was the banned episode is the story of two men cleaning out an attic (one of them is Star Trek's George Takei) they both relive their memories of the War, the episode ends with both men killing themselves. |

That's the Bewitching Pool.
And the one Little Boy is talking about is An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge... but it wasn't the last one ever made, and I'm pretty sure I've seen it aired. Episode guide: http://tzone.the-croc.com/twilight1.html |
