This school system is a mess and budget cuts run rampant. My friend is an aid for severely handicapped children and after 8 years she still has to worry whether she will have a job the following school year. They are cutting program after program and closing schools right and left. Always changing starting times and bus routes in an attempt to rationalize the supers and their cronies salary. The new super, a long time teacher was not their first choice. Their first choice was someone from Dade County who bailed shortly after he accepted the job here in Pinellas. He was offered a better deal down in Miami. Hopefully the new lady in charge will make real changes - like maybe evicting this apparent douche if he does something stupid on BB. I am trying to like this guy, but being judgemental is more fun.
