I've noticed that Mexico has tons of UFO sightings (most of them are nonsense, but this one at least looks pretty convincing) and the US no longer has any.
Either the Mexicans are simply catching up on secret stealth technology, or the aliens got bored with us and have moved south.

My husband saw a similar UFO off our balcony in Ocean City last weekend doing maneuvers over the ocean. He is the last person in the world to make something
like this up in his head but he is absolutely convinced that is what he saw.
eta: I showed him the video and he just said "yep, that's what I saw" and left. He's the most prosaic, literal person short of CBR and it's just not fair that HE got to see it and I didn't.

No, he was very matter-of-fact about it. He saw it at night and didn't even tell me until the next day whereupon I ran to the balcony and yelled at the
sky "Come back! Take me with you!". I got rather strange looks from the people on the beach.
He did ask me to find out where he should report it although I'm not sure he followed through. But he honestly believes that is what he saw. The closest thing I ever saw to a UFO was the stealth bomber landing at Dover AFB. It was amazing to see.
