Some fat bitch in purple did the splits and she got put through <3. It was mainly all guys that were put through, and a lot of black guys. The audience kept cheering for the divas (they all were basically the same), but none went through <3.

Chicago has a bigger black population than most cities. Jamar hasn't been put through to Hollywood....yet. Those auditions aren't for awhile. He was put through to round 2.

She'll be my favo if she really is a female Adam. <3

Say buh-bye to this reality girl! It turns out that the producers of this popular reality show have had all they can take of this cast member. She whined, whined, whined, whined behind the scenes that her talents weren't really being used to their fullest. So the producers gave her a shot at doing what she said she did best… and it was a complete disaster. Only one head is going to roll here, and it's hers.

Paula's singing/dancing being a trainwreck on the results show wasn't a complete disaster nor would that really matter. That disaster "No Boundaries" affects TPTB more.

Posts: 1 (07/14/09 5:29 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Some info for season 9: Cody from last season (he was the one who liked filming those horror movie things and did a sing off with Alex Wagner Truman to make it to the top 36 I think that name is right) was at the orlando auditions for season 9 last week and he made it through to the next round. There was also a blind girl that I saw make it through, so there will be another story for another blind person I'm sure about Scott opening the doors for other people to try out. One of the producers also did mention all of Simon Paula Randy and Kara as people we would have to sing for if we made it to the next round, so I think all 4 are back.

Can we assume this is NOT Jamar the mediocre one-named season one semifinalist? 3) If Cody auditioned again, that means that one of our longstanding complaints (people who get as far as the chair episode and then sent home aren't allowed to try again) has finally been repealed! I'd be perfectly happy to never see or hear Cody again, but if this is true maybe some other good rejects that came close will finally have a second chance as well. 4) The last white female to make the top 4 was Katherine McPhee, 4 seasons ago (!) Considering that the show's most successful alumni are Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, this is nothing short of insane. Will they actually recognize this and try to find some good white female singers this year?

Interesting point though it's only valid if you count Alison Iraheta as latina and not white (some folks do the 'white and hispanic' thing). I'd bet that AI doesn't really care, however. Not counting Alison, there have only been four white females in the top 4 of any season, two of which were back in Season 1, and the show is doing just fine. Add this to the fact that some majorly pimped white females have flopped tremendously (Carly comes to mind), they probably aren't lamenting their absence. And as for Jamar auditioning, I liked him early on this season, but . I'm done with members of that church.

All during season 4 (the first season with the chair episode), they asked people if they would come back. Apparently, though, they changed the rules shortly after that they couldn't. I'm pretty sure, at least. I mean, until now, we haven't heard anything about a chair-episode-rejected contestant coming back, and I can't imagine that all of them would voluntarily not come back. If they can come back now from any season, I pray that Faith Gatewood from season 4 makes an epic return, only to get rejected again at the chair episode, get off on the wrong floor, and then throw an awesome temper tantrum, where she describes how good of a person she is . . . again.
