And when you think of it, isn't it gross and deviant for kids to clamber into their parents' cum- and yeast-encrusted sheets? Ugg.

When did you last sleep with your parents or children? |

For me it was the day before I was born. My parent would NOT allow me to clamber into bed with them.

My parents wouldn't let me sleep in their bed, either. But I do remember sneaking into their room and sleeping on the floor next to their bed a few times
when I was really scared. How mean were my parents to make me sleep on the floor when I was scared?
My own kids occassionally slept with us until they were about age 3. |

The daughter that daddy is fondling seems darker than everyone else.

What were you scared of?
My parents put a bolt on the outside of my door and were always threatening to lock me in, although they rarely did. |

I don't remember...I was a little kid. Probably monsters under the bed or something stupid like that. This was MANY years ago.

what if there were monsters underr your parents bed?
you come across as possibly clinically retarded |

Sleeping on the floor would also technically place you CLOSER to the monsters.

Tardboy fell asleep on the bed next to me in n.o. We were watching tv and he conked out. So daddy slept in the oher bed. Tardy is a bed hog though.
In general though, We've never allowed it. He can hop in with us on weekend mornings. And we talk and laugh. But that's it. |

Parents should never be in bed with their kids, awake or not. Ditto dogs.

No kids in our bed. Nope. Wasn't gonna start that shit.

I never once climbed in bed with my parents, and I'm still an antisocial freak. So that theory has been shot down.

Never made a habit of lettiing the kids sleep with us. Maybe they slept with us 10 times, between the two of them, when they were toddlers, as a big treat.
Since then I've had to share a bed with my now 9yo son maybe 5 times when I have been on the road with him and my now 10yo daughter, it's not pleasant
because he really rolls around a lot.
I've heard many horror stories about how hard it is to break a kid of the habit of sleeping in their parents bed once they have started. Oh, and as an aside, my poor depression born father who was one of eleven kids first slept in a bed alone when he joined the Air Force,he slept with at least 2 or more brothers. |

My 3 year old daughter climbed in my bed this morning at 4:30. We just got home from vacation last night late -- she was asleep and we put her right to bed.
When she woke she couldn't figure out where she was so she walked to our room. I admit I was tired so I just told her to climb on in. It doesn't bother
me one bit.
While on vacation, I had the misfortune of having to share a bed with my 12 year old son -- never again. Bed hog, sleep talker, teeth grinder. The next night I had the two kids sleep together and I slept on a thin foam mattress on the wood floor -- much better. |

I visited my mother last month and the spare bedroom was taken over by crated caterwauling dogs so I slept in her bed with her. I'm 44 - do you think
that's too old?
