I didn't clicky to see what other shows are nominated for best drama. It doesn't even matter to me. Lost indeed deserves the win this time. And so does
Michael Emerson!

Ok so I looked. I love House and Dexter, but I'm too biased to see ANY show as better than Lost....

Fox and Lily still deserve their nominations and Holloway truly deserved one this year, even more then Emerson.
Overall though, the nomination that truly matters is secured and I hold out hope that Lily and Fox especially get their due next year. If Matthew Fox goes 6 seasons without even a nomination, a severe in-justice has occured. |

pamrose, where did you post your thoughts on this at?
I hope Lost wins for Best Drama, especially since True Blood was snubbed. Either way, my guess is Lost will definitely win Best Drama for its last season, but two in a row wouldn't hurt. |

Hey SS! Pammy posted on the spoiler thread. For some of us, that is the "main thread". ; )

SS, were you referring to the fact that the same post posted 3 times? If so, I get it; I almost made the same joke. :)

TVGuide.com has the exclusive reveal of which six episodes they submitted for consideration in the Outstanding Drama series category. As expected, both parts of the Season 5 finale, "The Incident," made the cut. But which other four hours hope to be deemed Emmy-worthy? Watch TVGuide.com's Getting Lost videos for more Lost news Well, "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" made the short list, as did the similarly Locke-centric "Follow the Leader." Rounding out Lost's Emmy reel are "La Fleur" (in which Sawyer went from con man to big man on the Dharma campus) and "The Variable" (which revealed Faraday's dangerous plan to "save" the future). With Lost's list now revealed, one big mystery remains: Can the 2005 winner for Outstanding Drama Series beat the six other contenders in this year's race - Big Love, Breaking Bad, Damages, Dexter, House and Mad Men? In a perfect world, we would have Emerson, O'Quinn, and Holloway nominated, but this year especially, I really felt Josh deserved it, as he has done consistent great work for 5 seasons and if he was ever going to be recognized for it, it would be this year. With that said, I hope Emerson wins in a runaway! |
