That's bad news. CNBC got rid of Alexis Glick by "promoting" her to Today show spots.

Big differnce:
FOX Business Channel (which was just launching then) did a major raid and there were a few people who left, including Ms. Glick. Erin Burnett has appeared on the weekend versions of TODAY many times in recent months (sometimes doubling as doing financial segments and doing the newsreading, also anchoring on occasion) as has Carl Quintania (both as newsreader and anchor), so I suspect we will see Rebecca eventually pulling the occasional "double duty" on the weekend version as well. |

KudrowFan wrote:Rebecca would do fine, but Melissa Lee seems to have a firm grip on the fill-in host duties on Fast Money, especially since she also hosts a new show called Options Action that airs late Friday nights on CNBC. It would definitely be interesting to see Rebecca anchor the weekend version of the TODAY show and how people who actually remember her from The Apprentice would react to her doing it. |

Update:
It appears Melissa Lee has taken over the Fast Money duties, so it is possible perhaps that Rebecca could fill in when needed. |

Rebecca I suspect we will see sub on Fast Money in due time. She has continued to work her way up the food chain, and in fact has
continued to appear from time-to-time in the brief financial segments in the opening minutes of the TODAY show. She also seems to have become one of the
primary fill-in hosts on CNBC as a whole.

For anyone who cares, Rebecca is no longer with CNBC. She left CNBC back in the middle of September and is rumored to be headed towards CBS. If this is true,
then I truly feel sorry for CBS because their ratings will surely fall once Rebecca joins them. At least this is good news for CNBC as their ratings will
improve a great deal now that a complete deadweight like Rebecca is no longer with them. LOL

I knew Rebecca had quietly left CNBC, as she is not the only one who has left CNBC recently.
I'm surprised Rebecca is moving to CBS (if that is true), mainly because before she left CNBC, I though she would be a darkhorse candidate to take over at ABC on Good Morning America once Diane Sawyer leaves in January to take over World News Tonight from the retiring Charlie Gibson. Could it be there's a shakeup coming on CBS' morning show (which has been mired in third place forever) and Rebecca is part of that? |

I have ALWAYS respected Wally; as a matter of fact, Rebecca and Wes both went to the same lawyer to get restraining orders.

Wally, that is because people like SuitSnob are shallow and superficial hags who couldn't look past your germane suits and glasses to see the huge
throbbing love rocket you are hiding underneath those pleated Cashmeres.
