This was supposedly spoiled by a model months and months ago. The collections were also spoiled, and so eventually people did the math with styles, models in the collection, etc.

It's almost as if Althea took the opportunity of being on the show to design a collection as opposed to show all the different things she could do. I hope next season doesn't suck. If not, this show will die a painful death.

Personally, I thought, and I know i will get trashed for this, that Leanne's winning collection was WAY TOO one-note, both in color and style. Siriano's winning look was likewise quite uninteresting from the aspect of diversity and risk WITHIN a collection. there is a way to have cohesive p.o.v. without having everything look the fucking same.

Remember that a lot of these looks don't translate well on TV. They are way more intricate up close. But I kind of agree with you on the Leannimal collection. Mainly, because I just couldn't see where she'd progress from that collection. Christian collection was cohesive and not restraining. It's not like the puffy shoulders on his looks defined him as a designer. He's evolved his aesthetic since then, but it still is signature Siriano. But I guess I should have prefaced all the above with, in my opinion, so you don't get pissed off, cg. LOL.

I could not understand for the life of me, the love for that dress. It looked like a q-tip with the middle part cut off. But whatever. All this shite is subjective anyways. I just think that in the past, designers were better at showing us range (maybe they were just better). IDK.

(she was rawbed in All Stars though). Leanne made a collection which would make you stop and wonder how she did it. I loved the wedding dress. Isn't she the only Project Runway designer who's Runway Show was featured in some New York magazine or something (idk I'm not American). I loved her collection (that's probably really bias since I'm a Leanimal fan). She would've killed it if she made a piece based on Althea's inspiration (architecture of the getty).

I had no problems wit her during the season, but hated her final collection. To me, it looked like the new uniform for some crazy European airline that wanted to be slightly artsy, yet in a safe and sensible way. And did I mention how awfully monochromatic the colors were? I actually felt something when I saw it, like emotional, kind of like it moved me in some way and that's not easy to do cold-hearted bitch that I am. It had to do with the colors and shapes - they spoke to me - this is what art is supposed to do but everyone doesn't always have the same reaction. This is probably because I was born a poor black child...As for being able to wear any of Korto's clothes, I am only 5 foot 3 so I can't wear any of this crap any of them make.

To me, that wa the epitome of point of view without being redundant. I did not love all the pieces, but was blown away by the whole.
