I was baking a Coca-Cola Cake for a friend tomorrow because she requested it, and everything was going fine until I started to make the frosting...
that's when my eyes glance back up to the main cake recipe.
I. Forgot. To. Add. The. Marshmallows.
So just a couple minutes ago I took the cake out of the oven which was in there for 15 minutes, and now it's sitting on top of the oven because I have no clue what to do now.
It was bad enough that I didn't even have buttermilk for the recipe, using cans of Pepsi Wild Cherry instead of Coca-Cola, nor confectioners sugar for the frosting (had to make my own via la blender) and now have to use walnuts instead of chopped pecans.
I have marshmallows in the pantry. Good freakin' lord, but now what the hell do I do? Destroy the cake and start all over?
This was NOT a way to begin my morning!
Sorry for bitching.
