Even though I hate to use transitivity arguments, my reasoning is based on seeing both of them playing Fresno State back to back. Boise easily handled Fresno (on the road) while I thought Cincinnati should have lost to Fresno (at home).

Nothing wrong with that reasoning at all managerr. And Gweedeaux said they see all of Cincinnati's games locally which also helps them understand that team. Perfectly normal. I think we as a collective group have a decent handle on who is a Top Ten team, and even who is number 1. It is interesting to me at least, why someone differentiates between teams. Even more interesting when deciding between undefeated and non-undefeated teams (or teams within a game of each other). Of course, this is all caused because we don't have a playoff system. As we know, a playoff system would destroy the BCS rankings rendering them virtually useless. Don't you wish you had the idea that fostered the "#1 finger?"
