LSU got hosed on that INT call. But I don't think it changed the outcome - they had 9 yards of offense in the 4th quarter. NINE. We wore them out and their team was totally gassed.

And their strength and conditioning sucks ass - their players were dropping like flies.

The NCAA needs to have permanent officiating crews with no conference affiliation and members that rotate.

No, because no one respects the Pac-10 outside of USC who is always overrated even though they lose to some scrub every year. Look at how high Oregon jumped just based on a win over USC. (Many pollsters bumped them higher than Boise, totally ignoring the head to head even though Boise didn't lose)

Doesnt this argument go against itself? The Pac-10 (since I know it the best, I'll use it as an example) went 5-0 last winter in postseason bowls. I'm pretty sure four of them weren't named USC. So what would it take for people to notice a conference with quality wins outside of conference (along with quality losses) to make these teams noticed more? It sounds to me that your argument is that not only must a team be in a quality conference (or USC or ND), but they must have some aspect of a storied winning history pre-BCS, post-circa 1970, preferably with a few national championships under it's belt. Sounds to me that you could be in one of those quality conferences, have a great no-loss or 1-loss season and still be dissed just because you don't have a history pre-BCS. This makes a BSU championship game anytime soon a near impossibility.

TCU is ranked above Texas. Meaning TCU is deserving of the National Championship (once the SEC winner is decided), not Texas.

Texas has one big advantage though: they get a thirteenth game against a good opponent. And that game could very possibly push the longhorns past the horned frogs.

Also, Cincinnati is right behind the two Texas teams and could get huge boosts from the West Virginia and Pittsburgh games.

And what happens if Alabama beats Florida by one point? Those two teams might remain one and two, begging for a National Championship rematch.
