R.I.P. Thomas the pig.
I hope we can now say R.I.P. all the boring ass soap opera plots and welcome out of seclusion Beta! Is it just me or can anyone else not wait to see the cute widdle wabbit trying to hop around in space? I've wondered what the mice do on the space shuttle, maybe here we'll get to find out. Plus you think collecting floating blood is a bitch? Try rabbit pellets. Crap ep otherwise. ER in space. But we've now got a clear shot at Beta and with this ensemble, what promised to be good solid scifi. Or syfy. |

Episode 7 - Now THAT's what I was waiting for! This show has taken a sudden shift into the mystery which was awesome. Let's hope this keeps up for next
week. I really think we're done with the relationship focus and setting things up are are now going to be taken on the Beta train.
Has anyone else noticed that the only people who have been hallucinating are the ones that have lost someone in death and that feel regret over it? Donner lost his girlfriend on Mars and is responsible for leaving her behind. Zoey had an abortion and is now hearing the cries of this baby. Mentz couldn't save that girl in the collapsed building and now he keeps seeing her. Paula is seeing her dead dog (we don't know the circumstances of his death right now however, but I'm willing to bet she feels responsible for it). Nadia is seeing some man who is clearly haunting her... unfortunately we don't know much about him yet. Ted's wife is seeing 3 children.. we learned in this last episode via a flashback that she did feel responsible for the death of someone/some people - I'm thinking those are the kids. The only thing that doesn't fit in is Ted's hallucination of seeing Mars... unless he feels regret over the entire mission or something. So yeah, I definetely feel that Beta has something to do with death and regret or feelings of guilt. Can't wait until next week. |

Matuei -- Are you in a TV market getting it before the US?
I recall the Chica with the dog collar being the thing she'd toss into Rubicon orbit, but not much more. |

I haven't watched any of this but I would still like to know how they roped Ron Livingston into this.
That dude lose a bet? Must be one of those deals where in order to do something he wants, he had to do this. Seriously, fucking with BOBs guys is not cool. |

Let's face it: Lt. Nixon was sorta a dead end role, and you do realize the guy playing Dick Winters is in fact English?
Plus the forward thinking officer that got them the much needed supplies as the Nazis broke through at Bastogne? Simpering SNL/late show jock Jimmy Fallon. I'm more concerned about the 24 veterans onboard that space ship. Well, just one. Plus the kraut chick. Blue Angel types? Fun for a couple of boinks, but any BoB vet would know when to walk away. |

I love it when CTV does that.

Sounds like we're finally getting an ep in which something happens. I wish we had it on Fridays. BSG had me conditioned to enjoying scifi during lunch on Saturdays if not Friday night itself. |

I've been downloading this series, and watching Christina Cox's previous cancelled vampire series Blood Ties this week, I like her, but all the
Canadian bad actors in that series made it difficult to watch. Hope this series is more U.S. quality, than Canadian.

Most Canadian series tend to resemble According To Jim, which is why 95% of prime time tv is american stuff shown on CTV and Canwest.

Excellent ep I thought. Finally traction on the Beta reveal, and I loved it when Beta started "singing" to them. Excellent touch.
So the astronauts open the door to Pod 4, that golden glow lights their faces... ... but there's no preview of next week. Yup. ABC cancelled it: http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00027208.html THOSE ROTTEN SPIRALLING AROUND THE TOILET AND ABOUT THE ENTER THE SEWERS TURDS!!! ARRRRRRGH!!! Oh well. There are three more eps at least in the can. Let's see if they go online. I am seriously pissed. |

There's three more eh? I thought it was odd at the beginning of the ep an announcer said "stay tuned for the season finale of Defying Gravity".
So I was watching the whole thing wondering if there was a big wrap-up/reveal coming.

Hopefully CTV will continue to air it and you Americans will be able to download the episodes via torrent. ABC really did drop the ball here. They premiered
the show in August and then never advertised it after the first airing. It's like they were setting it up to fail. CTV has been doing a much better job at
promoting the show. I even see ads for it on the Space channel - which makes sense!
What bad timing for ABC... right before the revelation of pod 4's contents. It doesn't get more cliff-hangery than that. |

What a bunch of fuckers. The show could/should have been cancelled weeks ago when they were wasting our time with pointless back story on the characters. Now
after we've watched for 8 weeks and they are about to reveal the first tangible info on Beta (THE ENTIRE FUCKING CONCEPT OF THE SHOW) they cancel it.
Hopefully they will show the last 3 episodes on CTV here in Canada seeing it was a co-production. I knew when they moved it from Sunday to Friday on CTV it was a bad sign. It's really too bad too... this week's episode was great... |

CTV will continue to air it as it goes towards their required % of "Canadian content". On a side note.. I couldn't stop laughing at Daisy
Adair's run.

Now ABC is saying it is not cancelled and they will air the last FIVE episodes - they just don't know when:
