I just finished watching #2 about 1/2 an hour ago.
I should have checked here first.

How Dawn Ostroff still has a job, I have no idea. She must have dirt on everyone in Hollywood.
They cancelled Privileged, which could have been the next Gilmore Girls if they had been patient enough to nurture it for a season or two. Instead they tried to market it as Gossip Girls 2, when it was nothing of the sort. The CW deserves every bit of scorn and derision it gets. Melrose Place will be next on the chopping block unless Heather Locklear can save the day. Life Unexpected looks promising, but I'm sure the geniuses in the CW marketing department will find a way to screw it up. |

What really pisses me off about this is the network chose this over "The Body Politic" which had some pretty big names (names with talent to boot)
and a premise that seemd to be a level above the CW norm. Instead, they roll with this, which okay, that is the business, I get it... but then they do this!
I don't care how bad the numbers are, putting re-runs that aired the night before in a primetime slot can equal nothing but nothing. I didn't watch one second of this, I'm sure it was pretty horrible, but I don't understand it when any network pulls the plug less then 2 months in, especially when there are already a few episodes in the can. This is just another example of how the CW almost never get is right - ever. They discard the programming that could actually give their brand some credability (VMars, Body Politic) only to turn around and axe the crap they decide to go with!! Baffles me... |

I can't believe it's already been auf'd. WTF- is the CW crawling w/ so many good shows that it can cancel anything after just 2 episodes? I
wasn't aware that egomaniacal twat Tyra had anything to do with the show- that makes me feel better, almost good in fact that it's been cancelled.

I guess this just gives Mischa more time to party.
Know if they're going to show the rest of the episodes that they've filmed? |

I think idiot Dawn was petrified of one of her shows falling below 1 million total viewers. And it would have next week.
To recap: Veronica Mars was cancelled after it fell to a low of 2.15 million viewers. I hope Dawn Ostroff is raped by a mime in a barn* *Little House on the Prairie reference, which to me is the most horrifying thing that can happen to a person. |

I dont even watch this show and I feel bad for you. Then again, i'm still pissed that they promoted Valentine for 4 months and cancelled it after 4
episodes.
CW has been in trouble since they merged. Then I figured Pepper Dennis might stay on and they would program the 10 pm hour with the extra shows from UPN. Instead, it's been less and less programming. |

You only pull in 1 million viewers, you get the ax. Well, and it sucked.

ArsenalExhaled wrote: They really think having a show they had on the night before will bring in the ratings? They had a better chance with this show. Not that TBL is amazing, well written or has great actors, just it's not the same damn shit people could have seen the night before. The least they could do is show the episodes they've filmed, and then can it. |
