whatever
Everything else is "Just another island" to me. For real. I dont remember anything really different between Marquases/Cook Islands/Palau/Panama/Fiji etc.....maybe some places seemed happier (as dumb as it sounds) like Cook Islands/Panama and some were darker like Fiji and Palau...idk |

umm, sorry but that's a retarded statement. EVERY island has had its own unique flair and culture (and most LOOKED totally and completely different too)
and if you can't see that then you're a shallow superficial retard. YAY for Samoa (if that guy didn't already fuck things up)! Seriously, how the
hell can anybody say that for example Marquesas looks ANYTHING like Panama?

I remember at least one thing each island that makes me remember it:
Borneo: I thing of it as dirty for some reason. Marquesas: Mountains! Thailand: Does this count? Well it had caves. Panama: It always seemed gloomy to me. Vanuatu: Probably the most generic island as I can't really think of anything. But it had volcanos. Palau: Always sunny and beautiful water, and the islands were lumpy like mushrooms. Cook Islands: Like Palau except normal islands. Fiji: Similar to Marquesas, except more caves. Well maybe they are similar after all. But to me, they all just seem to have a different feel to them. Even the 3 Panama's and 2 Palau's have different feel's to them. |

I get what you mean Zesty
Same feelings for them all...I just feel like when there are just different places they could go...well....they should. The pictures of Samoa posted above could have been titled ANYTHING and people would not know the difference. Thats my main plight with it all; yet if I posted Gabon with those pictures people would say "Well...no" I really feel like we are in for at least 4 more years of Survivor, they would put it on another time for a whole year before they ever canceled it so thats (in my opinions) 8 more seasons. India, Madagascar, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Austraila again....anything....just seeing those pictures that look like they could be anywhere pisses me off |

Dusting off the old unofficial Survivor Samoa logo I made months ago...

As much as I love Tocantins as a location, it will be nice to get an island-season again. Two landlocked seasons in a row (and China before Micro) is enough.

^ Totally agree Islands are nice. If I want to see land I look out my back door and see deer, red fox, coyotes, rabits, ground hogs, possums, racoons,
squirels, song birds, owls, mice, snakes.

I have to agree with JerseyJerk, all island locations look the same to me. They're own unique flair and whatnot, is merely Probst shoving some pointless
differential criterias down our throats.
Every island season he always says something in the intro to make it sound unique: "This was the home for pirates/vikings..." "Cannabalism played a huge part in these islands..." "Part of WWII was fought here..." "This is where Britney wanted to exile herself after shaving her head...." With inland locations, he doesn't need to say any of that shit, the location IS the theme. Although islands are very Survivorish to me and ultimately I don't really care about the location. |

Location only adds to the season's quality. If the cast is good enough, the location could be in the streets of New York. But a good location just makes
the season better.

Fokkerd just gasms over islands for some stupid reason...
I have to agree with Jerk, Islands in the south pacific (the majority of the ones theyve gone to) have the same or similar cultures, terrain, it's quite repetitive. Also, what the fuck is that ugly ass logo taht some fantard made doing here? Shameless self-whoring for the loss. |

Mypoody2 wrote:Because the shameless variety is the best kind of self-whoring there is. There are entire cable networks based on it. If it weren't for fertility treatments gone haywire or creepy-ass amish families with 20+ kids, bad hair and prairie dresses stolen from Laura Ingalls Wilder's grave, TLC would have at least six hours of dead airtime every day. If you're worried about whordom on the sucks boards, you can either use the paper toilet seat covers provided, or embrace the whoring and learn to live with the occasional burning and fishy-smelling discharge from your nether region. |

I really like that logo.

I'd suggest a carefully regimented program of various ointments, penicillin, and a putty knife to carefully scrape away the cauliflower-like growths around the who-whos that not only itch and burn, but make those visits to the locker room at the YMCA for anonymous nookie oh-so awkward. |

I'm with jerseyjerk on this one, it's just another pacific island. the only dramatically different Island setting they've had were Marquesas and
Borneo, everything that followed all pretty much looked exactly like the other (one could make a case for Palau/Micronesia, but it was only apparent during
aerial shots, otherwise the beaches all looked the same)
