Charleston is quite simply the loveliest little European city in the country. Beautiful houses, gardens, restaurants, antique shops ... Fort Sumter, the Battery, the Citadel, College of Charleston, and so on. I adore it!!! |

Charleston beaches are lovely. White sands, sweet people, just a few sharks.
Be sure and hit the outdoor market. Best spices in the world. Watch the ladies weave baskets. Take a carriage ride. Eat some incredible food. Gah, I miss Charleston. |
