TOP 5: London and Maddie (kishuu) chooses to submit themselves to luck than count the coins
MTAR1 Leg 9 - Kyoto, Japan

So Leg 9's Roadblock was to choose one of 26 bowls filled with coins, dropping them into 40 monks consecutively over a bridge until the last coin lands in one of six monks that has a prayer bead, which they will receive before running to the pit stop. Teams had the option of counting the coins in a bowl for 3 updates or submit themselves to lady luck. With the six teams doing the roadblock (as Lydia and Phil almost got Dennis and Andrew'ed at the Fast Forward - but came first), kishuu was the first to initiate the "submitting themselves to the will of lady luck" while others counted to be sure. It is dumb because you will be wasting time and to some extent money if you kept on doing such, considering that the last team, even though Mark and Michael-ed, were considerably near with the pack (It's just funny that dapa didn't know how the roadblock should run as well). Well, kishuu has been extremely lucky with the said bowl, the monk and all, earning her a top three finish, with her luck going until the Taipei detour, and killed her chances of being in the Final 5 because of a children's baseball game Roadblock.

Oh yeah, I <3 all the teams so much, but what I'm criticizing are the moves.

TOP 4: PENALTIES GALORE!
Leg 3: Naples, Italy
Leg 11: Singapore

Seriously, this happens in every race, real or virtual. People need to read the clues properly more often... In the two of thirteen legs I made, the two had people suffering penalties - around 3 - 4 players perhaps. Good thing is that neither of them got eliminated on the leg they got penalties... but were put into a highly significant disadvantage...

I'll start off with Leg 3. Clearly, I said to take a Taxi from Rheims to Paris International Airport, while people opted to be cheap, to take a bus or even rails... so there you go, the trailing pack still became trailing as they tend to have less money, mainly because they wanted to save.

And Leg 11 - when I told to walk, ADC and Suya may have used the taxi for strategic purposes, (I'll talk about that later...) and well, Nimber probably just followed the bandwagon... so it's kinda lesser evil of the two...

AND...

Special mention goes to dapa... Who already knew in Leg 3 that he was...
a) GETTING A PENALTY
b) ALMOST DEAD LAST
c) TIMED CHECK-INS WERE CONSIDERED

And still WALKED TO PIT STOP... Garnering an almost one hour behind the first team leaving for the 4th leg departure. but I'll deal with that later in a higher rank.
