Alright, I said I would make one and here it is! Still awaiting the pictures from their New Orleans trip which I am sure will enrage many and updates on the
girls for today. Poor Ashlyn. I wouldn't be surprised if she passes away soon. Her idiot parents will probably report that she is "getting
stronger/better/making progress" everyday and then one day she will pass on.

What's naturally the most children a woman can bare during one pregnancy. You know, without fertility drugs?

There are stories of women having up to ten but that can't be verfied. In reality, the Dionne Quints were they only ones that we know for sure were
naturally conceived. There was also a woman recently from a poor African village who had 6. It is highly doubtful that she even had access to fertility
treatments. She died in childbirth.

Oh, wow. Sorry to hear that.
So up to 5 or 6? Good to know. |

I thought it was a bit much. Just scan over the topics and don't read it if you don't want to! Whatever though. I just hope we don't lose all the previous info and discussion. Hope everyone comes and keeps participating! |

Yeah, so a seminar about Joseph Smith in New Orleans? Inappropriate or highly inspired? I can't decide.

kxaaetc, You're a newbie so I am going to say this nicely. OT is a whole different ballgame and I am not even going to get into it. Basically your best bet
if you want to keep talking about this is to keep it in OSTS and just talk more about J&k. I could be wrong though and OT might have a little compassion,
but it isn't likely.

Well if the thread goes back to bashing the Stansels for trying to have six after losing twins - then we will be good here.

The Stansels and the rest of the "let's have multiples and get a show" crowd are the lowest of the low. They are down in the gutter with child
molesters.

No talking about Jon and Kate in this thread! This thread is about the Stansels.
(But yeah, I do feel badly for kxaaxlum. She is an innocent victim here). |

Bet you that when she does post pictures the mother will be smiling and father will be fighting back @%+%%, just like all the rest of the pictures.
If they survive, how in the world are the parents going to deal? What are they going to do when it is obvious that the kids have major issues and they can't pray those away? Knowing them, they will still report everything like it's the best news ever. I don't know what enrages me the most, that they willingly put the babies in this situation or that they continuously try to minimize all the pain and discomfort those babies are dealing with. No! These things are not just "small steps back" or "dumps in the road." They are MAJOR SETBACKS and they are still CRITICAL!!!!! |

Incredibly bad news from the blog. Sweet baby Ashlyn is very ill. It is truly heartbreaking.
Another day down with the girls. Thomas received a call late this morning from Dr. Finkowski-Rivera who is taking care of the girls this week. She said that little Ashlyn has had a blood culture come back positive for Yeast Pneumonia, which is extremely dangerous and can be fatal. She said they have had an infectious disease doctor from Texas Children's Hospital over to see her, and that they have put her on yet another antibiotic and an anti fungi drug. Also the doctors called Thomas again around 3pm stating they needed to put an emergency PICC line in. Dr. Bloss was able to put it in successfully. When we left the hospital this evening, Ashlyn seemed to be doing a little better. The problem with the drug they are giving her for this specific type of pneumonia is that the medication is pretty hard on the kidneys and her kidney numbers are already elevated. The doctors didn't really have a choice but to give her the medication. They will be monitoring her very closely. They said time will tell what happens to the kidneys. |

You missed the most ironic part of the post, Gup - she says, "all we can do is hope for the best" - like they're hoping the car repair is $200
and not $2000. Clue----LESS.
I don't get it - Thomas is obviously at work, and he is taking calls about the babies conditions. She is at home, with no other children, not working, doing exactly what?! You would think if they called and said one of the babies was extremely ill with a potentially fatal infection, that she would be at the hospital by their side. IDGI, they seem so unaffected by it all. She says they have been through too much in 5 weeks - I'm afraid this just the beginning for them. |

They're probably waiting for the remaining kids to die so they can try for that perfect baby. Again.

Wait. Who is paying for all these doctors and spinal taps and round the clock care? I think I hate these people more and more every day.
