Wow! All this time I thought they tried to balance that stuff out with quotas. I guess this makes up for 1 of those recent seasons where they only had like 1
all male team or something. Since there hasn't been a single all female team win though I am a little surprised that they have put 4 in 1 season. This
seems like a record. How many did TAR 4 have?

a) Their Final Season b) All All Women Season c) Dustin and Kandice and Charla and Mirna gets to run the 13 legs of TAR All Stars again, without anybody else. Geee... |

TAR5 had all three FF teams in the F6, yet none of them made the F3.
It took ten seasons until a FF team actually made it into the F3. All-Stars actually had two FF teams in the F3, yet they still lost to one of the weakest teams on there. I don't have faith in a FF team ever winning. |

It's funny how no female teams have been able to win TAR and yet an all female team wins in the very first season of the Asian version.
I think part of the problem is that even when they cast more than 1
f/f team, 1 of the teams are completely non-competitive in the first place (cheerleaders, sorority girls, etc.).

Jeez, if they wanted more F/F teams in the finals then maybe they should cast swim team captains instead of beauty queens, and marathon runners instead of
sisters. Or police women instead of poker players. Or anything instead of sorority sisters.
It will also help to have some of the early detours and road blocks be more mental and less physical to weed out the alpha teams earlier. |

TAR10 had by far the most physically exhausting opening few legs, but ended up with 2 of the 3 (of 12!) teams making the Final 4. And even in the purely mental challenges, alphas have the advantage of being much less tired and more able to keep their thoughts straight. TAR is still predominantly luck-based, so a female team has a good chance of winning the US version - the only reason it hasn't happened is a combination of bad luck (TAR11, TAR14) and the general habit of casting either "hot" young Marisa/Brooke-types or wacky old Lisa/Joni types compared to the greater variety of guy teams. |
