Betsy definitely had the best game edit I thought. Shambo was the entire show for the other tribe, so either Shambo wins or none of them do.
ETA: Liz got a pretty good edit. This may be a female winning season since only one male, the villain, got an interesting edit. |

LOL @ myself !!! I f@#$ed up already with predictions before the first episode ended.
Watch another male win this time around. But seriously, Betsy and Shambo should at least be interesting to watch. Shambo-the most prevalent person on her tribe which did not go to TC; BUT she was sitting on the beach by herself...I think she will be this season's fan favorite we want to win, but may not. Then again, didn't we say the same thing about Bob and JT? Betsy-the wise one who didn't confront Russell. However, she did not vote with him either. Russell's been set up by CBS to cause antics. I could tell by his speech that he was almost scripted. His responses were not genuine. Even Coach was obscurely genuine. Russell was forced. Still, whenever there are female contenders, we ALL know how that turns out. Ben's just a dick. Sadly, he should be on the list of contenders but he's much more of a dick in my opinion than Russell. With Russell, we get what we see. Oh, btw, I would like to get a link to the voting site as well. |

Agree about Betsy, Russell S, Mick. Jaison's only testimonial was about how smart Mick was to choose him. I got the "Sandy" feeling with Shambo, too. Not that she's crazy, just that they like this character and want to use her for the short time they have her. Is it even in the realm of possibility that Russell H is getting some new super-villain edit....as a winner? He controls everything in the tribe! What they eat, what they breathe. They have to make him a villain bc he's so villainous. And if the villain wins ... doesn't it make sense to make him the -biggest- villain -ever-? Marisa got a -very- positive edit for someone who's eliminated. It makes Russell look even smarter - to be able to outfox the one person who's on to him. |

That's an NN. It's not about yelling and screaming. The point of that edit was to absolutely, 100% reinforce in nearly every scene, that he is to be viewed negatively by the viewer. That's a forced, extreme edit. Hence, NN. Don't do it because he axed a nice girl. Do it because it's the editing intent. Not that it isn't obvious. Was that the shortest opening in Survivor history before the first commercial break? And I love more show, but I hated chopping out the theme song. Okay, who was featured before the "theme" and who got a confessional before break? Michael |

They had to promote this season. They had to do something that will have the few remaining viewers talking. They went to the CBS factory and manufactured
Russell H. He was made out of metal and black blood that was leaked from the heart of Maryann from True Blood.
Can't wait for the orgy of bug-eyed demons when they merge. |
