It's so early...
I've seen seasons like Palau which I thought would suck after the first 2 eps, and it ended up with some of the most memorable characters ever. On the other hand, Gabon started well then went to shit. As I dislike the cast to begin with, I'm watching strictly for entertainment value. Hell, I didn't even find TC to be interesting but the rest of the ep had high amusement factor. Of course you cannot judge a season till we get to jury. Best. Worst. We have NO IDEA YET! -SJ™ |

I am loving this season and this last episode was especially great. We got to see a lot about both tribes and the challenge was unique and suspenseful.

Although I thought I wasn't gonna enjoy this season because it would be the Russell show, just like Tocantins was the Coach show, it's actually been a
lot better so far. Now that he's been less of a focus and the other characters have said something, it's pretty damn good. I seriously thought that
Natalie and Kelly were the same people, but I've now understand they're on different tribes, so they are slightly different. Not one of the best yet,
but certainly an improvment over the pile of steaming shit Tocantins turned out to be.

So far, I'm enjoying this season. I think they are definitely shifting the way they edit things, though. Instead of going for an overall season-long
story, they are being very episodic. When Foa Foa goes to Tribal Council, we pretty much only see Foa Foa. They weren't ignoring Galu because Russell H.
wasn't on it. They simply ignored Galu because they weren't going to Tribal. Foa Foa got practically ignored this past episode, because Galu went to
Tribal. Likewise, the boot has gotten a lot of focus so far each episode. I feel I got to know Marisa, Betsy, Ben, and Yasmin pretty well. We'll see how
it plays out, but my thinking is that the tribe that goes to Tribal Council and the person getting the boot will get a lot of airtime as the season progresses.
This way, maybe they'll avoid invisible boots like Morgan, Liliana, and Rebecca.
