Russell wants to drag Natalie to the final 2 because she's a clueless bimbo, she replies by saying Russell under-estimates her and she will win because she'll be the one who builds relationships while Russell only focuses on how to get from point A to point B and not realizing you have to get people to vote for you. Seems blatantly obvious that this is exactly what will happen. At the very least it seems to indicate Russell and Natalie in the final 2/3 or else, why would they have bothered with that?

What's interesting is that, if this where the final 2, you'd have the two edits that are on total different sides of the spectrum, and neither is an "edgically-acceptable" winner. By edgic rules, who wins? The OTTN5 or the INV1?

And this is the first time that Russell's "I run everything" alleged dominance has been at all countered in a seemingly meaningful long term way. I did think it was interesting. I was shocked they even showed a confessional from her on the subject. I don't think she wins but I do wonder what it means.

It's a huge stretch to imagine her winning but it's interesting.

Happened at the same time in the season as well. Natalie winning would be so I hope it happens.

Bob was edgically viable, he was just too P (which, after JT, we know is no longer a reason to eliminate someone). Bob wasn't OTTP (people threw that rating around way too much that season, he was MORP) and CPP for almost the entire merge. Take away the tone, and Bob's edit was winner-y just lower key.

I'm pretty sure she was marked off as INV in either the first or second episode for speaking very little. I do find it interesting that even though Natalie was really low-key, and we didn't know her name until the second episode, I can still remember a role she played in each episode. Ep. 1 - Becoming the 'even dumber long-haired blonde' aligned with Russell, being told by Betsy that she doesn't trust Russell Ep. 2 - Talking with Betsy/Ashley about women's intuition, talking to Ashley about Ben annoying people at night Ep. 3 - Talking with Russell about TC, assuring Ashley that she shouldn't be blamed for targetting Ben, avoiding Jaison vs. Ben at TC Then she had a great fourth episode, editing-wise. It's definitely a stretch, but I could see Natalie winning if this was all a part of her hiding and being underestimated. Episode 2 was strange, as 8 of 9 Foa Foa members had prominent roles, and Natalie was the only one 'ignored', possibly just surrounded by distractions. I do think that if she won, she would've gotten at least 1 confessional in the first episode though. There's always exceptions to everything though.

I think it may even be becoming obvious to the casual viewer to realise one INV episode and you won't win. This season is worse than Fiji.

I hate that a favorite can suddenly be completely eliminated in one episode. For example - had Liz and Ashley received UTR1's in the past episode they would still be viable picks, but now it seems useless to support them and watch their edits grow and foster, regardless on whether or not they win in the end. That's what makes edgic fun, for me anyway. So I hope someone with an INV wins to break the trend.

If this were ever to happen, then the editors completely screwed us, the viewers, over by keeping Natalie invisible for the first few episodes. I doubt this will come to fruition, but they certainly could have put up more suspense by giving Nat at least a fair share of airtime prior to episode 4.
