Jeff made a call too early? |

Remember after the first reward challenge which Foa Foa had one, Jeff claimed that Galu were the underdogs? Looks like he should've waited after more than
one challenge before making that claim.

They were underdogs FOR THAT CHALLENGE based off their performance in the last one (well, John's performance anyway). Notice Jeff didn't repeat that
statement in following episodes? It's because their record improved. Underdog status is determined by situation and track record; in the first episode it
wasn't used improperly at all.

I think it's silly to declare that a team is an underdog unless they've had a prolonged losing streak. At the time Jeff said it I thought it was weird
becasue it was just reward (and flint is usually given to the losing tribe's first challenge win or at their first TC), and because one team had to lose.

but a loss doesn't make you an underdog, your status and potential does. if the stronger team happens to lose a competition, does that make them underdogs?
galu has proven itself as the stronger team, and they've proven that they've always been the stronger team. so they were never underdogs so jeff was
wrong so rusty is a genius.

He also made a big deal about Ben being the first person to ever be kicked out of a challenge when that honor went a long time ago to Robb Z in Survivor
Thailand.

Either way, it was a stupid thing to say considering :
a) It was the first challenge. b) It wasn't a blowout. |

It actually started with Jed, I think.

It was Ken at first, then Robb.
Fuck, I can remember that having only watched Thailand once, yet I can't remember the Samoa first boot. |

It was Ken, Robb, Stephanie, and Jed (in that order). Literally half the tribe.

Pretty sure that every Sook Jai member that competed got kicked out except for Shii Ann and Penny.
