1. I don't think anyone knew Erik had the HII. I seem to recall that when he found it, he said that he wasn't going to tell anyone that he had it. (Which to me is the smart strategy (unlike Russell's) because the whole point of the HII is that it's HIDDEN!)

2. My impression was that Shambo knew there was a scheme afoot to go after Erik, but she thought they were countering it and the plan was still to target Jaison. Her not knowing about it shows that she is completely out of the loop with the other Galuvians.

3. Once the Galu Grrls flipped, there was nothing the men could do -- there were 7 votes for Erik. So their choice was to go along and let Laura think she was in control, or to vote for Jaison and identify themselves as targets for next time.

4. Shambo clearly is clueless about how the game is played, so I can't blame people for wanting to keep her on a "need to know" basis. She isn't a threat, but she is a loose cannon. But the fact that she is a moron and that she has no alliances actually puts her in a good position as a swing vote. Where does she go now? She hates Laura & her pets, and the men turned on Erik and didn't tell her, so she will feel betrayed. Maybe that sends her into the arms of Foa Foa?

5. Next week's preview showed Galu uniting against Foa Foa and targeting Russell, so we know that can NEVER actually happen. My guess is that Laura remains the target. Russell and Dave both want her gone, and Shambo hates Laura's guts. That's 6 votes right there. But it depends on Dave being able to convince some of the other men, because I don't think he would expose himself by openly opposing his old tribemates.
