are from Los Angeles. Galu also had no real liabilities in challenges while Foa Foa had Betsy and Mike.

It is better than letting the cast form their own unbalanced tribes. I still fail to see how Betsy was a liability besides being the oldest woman on Foa Foa.

Mike was the only real liability o,o
ETA: He was basically cast to fill in the "Medi-vacced-yet-no-one-gives-a-*beep*-but-only-for-the-sake-of-someone-"epicly"-leaving-the-game" |

Foa Foa failed because their leader didn't have the balls to assert himself so it's no wonder they were aimless & went 5 million different
directions. Plus they had 2 completely toxic tribe members sabotaging them (Ben & Russell H).

Foa Foa disintegrated when they voted off Marisa anyway.

well, i personally think that when russell pour all the contents of their water jugs, they're toast. that was the primary reason why they lost almost all
challenges since then. Russell = STUPID FUCK

Erik & Ashley were the two alternates who were put on the show at the last minute. Without them the tribes would have been more equal.

I think Foa Foa started off at a disadvantage physically, since Galu had more athletic men than Foa Foa. And it didn't help that Foa Foa voted out Ben so
early in the game. Pretty much all the challenges were close -- Foa Foa didn't get blown out -- and having Ben around might have made the difference in a
few challenges, which would have evened out the numbers a little more.
Also, the Foa Foa women never seemed to unite. On Galu, Laura, Monica and Kelly quickly united for protection, so when Monica was threatened they were able to protect her. Marissa, Ashley, Liz, Natalie and Betsy never got together. Mike was the obvious first boot on Foa Foa, but he was easily able to turn the focus on the girls as "weak" and they were picked off. If 3-4 of them had been able to stick together, they would have been a formidable voting bloc. Whether they didn't do it because they're stupid or because Russell was successful in creating chaos, I don't know. But I think that made a big difference. |
