When you really think about it I doubt all of them will know each other and I don't just mean them not knowing Russell. I mean the last season that I think
is representing some actual fans of the shows is Palau. People from the earlier seasons were die hard fans and ones from the later seasons are mostly mactors.
Anyone actually think Colby will know Sugar or Randy will know Boston Rob? Many of the pre All Stars contestants probably don't watch the show anymore and
many of the post All Stars(especially post Palau)probably only watch their seasons and maybe one of two afterwards.

Jerri & Sugar are friends and partied in LA together.. Colby lives in LA so chances are he's probably encountered the other survivors from Los Angeles.
And I know Jerri and Sandra both watched most of the seasons following their own, and Rupert throws survivor parties at his house. So for the most part..
they all know each other except for some exceptions.

Don't they all go to Survivor events or signings where they all hang out? I'm pretty sure there was some survivor event in Houston not long ago going
by the pics on their facebook pages for example.

i think they all actually know each other. Like survivormojo said, they have huge events where all the alumni get together and hang. So I'm pretty sure
everyone is pretty friendly with everybody, though there are probably a few people who have never met one another.

I think Colby avoided everything Survivor-related like plague ever since the first All-Stars. I'm actually surprised that he took the invite for this season. Obviously some arm-twisting from Probst there...................or other things, let your imagination run wild. As far as Survivor get togethers go, yeah there's a huge bunch of them, but it's always the same people who go and always the same people who snub them, so those people will have very little contacts. |

Sandra blogged about Cook Islands on the CBS site, and she did like Jonathan Penner (which is a plus for her and Parv alligning).
Jerri was quoted after Micronesia, saying she was a fan of the Black Widow Brigade. That's not surprising. Parvati hung out with Courtney and Todd after the S18 finale. I've also heard that Parv has seen all that seasons released on DVD. Tyson's favourite Survivor is Fairplay. Now he's on a tribe with Sandra, and he's out early. Interesting. Russell is at a disadvantage, since he's seen at most a couple seasons, and never had time to prep properly for ASS. |

I remember in her all-stars column, Sandra talked about how Rob M was one of her favorite players, so it'll be interesting to see them together.

Russell didn't know who anyone before Cirie/Danielle was.
All the Pre ASS players (including Colby/Jerri) knew all the post ASS players. Randy knew everyone. Sandra/Rupert/Rob/Jerri/Colby had the chance to hang w/ Courtney, Parvati, Candice, Cirie, Danielle, James, Amanda at certain given points. Only one who didn't recognize everyone was Russell, and Coach had trouble, but not much. |

And nobodt knew Russell. They only knew he was some sort of a "Villain" in Samoa. (which on it's own isn't that much. Don't forget that
we have Sandra as a Villain and Candice as a Hero on S20, so it's all relative).
I'd love to see Russell play in S20. The Villain Tribe aren't that easy to bully and/or controll. BTW: and I the only one thinking that Russell has an alliance with Sandra, Danielle and Jerri, rather than Parvati? I'm thinking Parv is the rumored IC whore. (it would make sence, since Russell had alliances with "weaker girls" Natalie and Ashley rather than physical competetors like Liz - and if Russ doesn't have an alliance with Parvati, she would need to win Immunities to pull through) |
