I got my sweetie a couple of different bracelets...one beaten silver Hopi style (just for you, Spike!), and the other a delicate filligree.
My son is getting a Kindle, loaded with a subscription to the New York Times and several books. Centerpieces will be delivered to each of my three sister's homes. I'm giving my girlfriend's sister a HUGE bottle of Svedka vodka with an IV hookup attached... |

Thanksgiving is nicer than Christmas. Just having to spout off about what you're thankful for is nicer than hearing kids screaming and crying over what
they got vs. what someone else got. Plus, there is football on Thanksgiving.

i'm done shopping. on the weekend i ordered the space pen (it writes upside down!) for two people, engraved with their names and with a refill ink -
isn't that a nice gift?
for my brother and SIL, i DID NOT renew the magazine subscript i've been sending them for the last few years...i just renewed my subscript for it and i'm not giving them anything. i just don't know if they even read it or want it...there's no thank you or anything and they don't mention reading it, so...and they don't give me anything for Christmas. they don't really "do" Christmas. |
