Crap. Definite shot at top 12 with that story. Best my ass, he's decent that's not what viewers are going to be remembering about him.
A's'iah' all over again.

I liked his voice. His story made me sad.

I feel bad for his tragedy, but his singing was forgettable.

If his friend tones it down, he has just as good, if not a better voice.
Sad story, good voice. I'll need to see improvement for me to sign on to him being T12 worthy. |

Liked the singing and glad he didn't bring his wife stuff into the audition. The story's sad, but not eye-rollingly so.
I mean, his explanation that he wants to let people see the type of person she was through his singing - thought that was actually pretty sweet. :) |

I'm amused that he's on the show to show what his wife was about and for his audition he sings a song about finding out his woman is cheating on him, I
Heard It Through the Grapevine.

Cat could blow. If I voted, I'd throw a few his way.

LuverBoyLuvesBoyz wrote: except how does he do that exactly? is he channeling her ghost? He had a great voice...could've done without the dead wife story straight out of the box. I am glad though that they didn't milk it in the audition like they did that year with the girl and her dead dad. Blind guy sucked can't even see him making it past Hollywood. |

He's from my hometown (and nobody hardly ever goes on rtv from my state), and I still hate him.

It hasn't aired here yet, and I'm already SICK of him and I don't know what the fuck his sob story is. I assume his wife kicked the bucket while he
was singing or something.

American Idol is NOT going to bring his wife back. Why do people soothe their life woes in a bath of cheap pop-music fame?

Merely!
I would be aggravated if he didn't have talent, but he does. Has to be incredibly tough losing a spouse that young. That said, I don't want to hear about it every time he's on camera. *practices with mute button* |

it looked more like the producers forced him to talk about it. If he really was whoring his sob story out he would've brought something so annoyingly eye
catching like a t-shirt with her face printed on it or some shit.

His story touched my heart. I think I will buy his 1st album and all subsequent I tunes singles he releases.
